In this episode of Coffee Talk, Candace takes you to 2 Chronicles 20 and unpacks a powerful truth: just because you’re facing it doesn’t mean you’re supposed to fight it. This is for the one who has been:  • Overthinking every situation  • Replaying conversations  • Trying to fix people, outcomes, and problems  • Carrying stress, anxiety, and emotional weight God never asked you to fight it—He asked you to trust Him with it. What if the breakthrough isn’t in doing more… but in surrendering more? What if the battle requires your presence—but not your interference? And what if your greatest weapon in this season isn’t control… but praise? It’s time to stop striving.  It’s time to stop defending.  It’s time to stop carrying what was never yours. Lay it down. Lift Him up. And watch God fight for you. If this episode speaks to you, share it with someone who’s been fighting a battle they were never meant to carry.

Now I Know Who I Am

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2595242/fan_mail/new] Season 1 is officially coming to a close, and what a journey it has been. When I started Coffee Talk, I had no idea where this path would lead. What began as a simple conversation became a place where we explored identity, rejection, healing, faith, waiting, purpose, emotional wounds, and what it truly means to live life more abundantly. If I’m honest, launching this podcast felt a lot like giving birth. There was excitement, fear, uncertainty, stretching, growing, and plenty of moments where I wondered if I was doing it right. But just like a child, what is born doesn’t stay the same. It grows. It develops. It learns. It becomes. And that’s exactly what Coffee Talk has done. Thank you to every listener who tuned in, shared an episode, left a review, sent a message, or simply sat with me over a cup of coffee each week. Your support, encouragement, and willingness to walk this journey with me means more than you’ll ever know. As we close Season 1, I’m excited about what’s ahead. Season 2 will be deeper. Season 2 will be stronger. Season 2 will be more intentional. Together, we’ll continue navigating life through different seasons, challenges, transitions, victories, losses, relationships, faith journeys, and everything in between. We’ll have honest conversations, ask hard questions, and continue discovering what it means to become the people God created us to be. So this isn’t goodbye. It’s simply, “See you soon.” Season 1 may be ending, but your story isn’t. Keep growing, keep healing, and keep becoming. I’ll meet you back here for Season 2. Thank you for being part of the Coffee Talk family. Be blessed! With love, Candace ☕

Coffee Talk: Take a Look Back

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2595242/fan_mail/new] Sometimes the best reminder of God’s faithfulness is found in looking back. In this episode of Coffee Talk, we’re reflecting on the photos, memories, and seasons that tell the story of where we’ve been—and how far God has brought us. From seasons of joy and abundance to seasons of heartbreak, anxiety, depression, and uncertainty, every chapter has played a role in shaping who we are today. If you’ve been feeling stuck, discouraged, or wondering if God is still working in your life, this conversation is for you. Sometimes we become so focused on what hasn’t happened yet that we forget the prayers He has already answered and the battles He has already brought us through. Join me as we take a look back, celebrate growth, recognize God’s hand in every season, and find encouragement to keep moving forward. The same God who carried you then is the same God carrying you now. Your story isn’t over. God isn’t finished. And your next season may be closer than you think. Scripture Reference: Ephesians 3:20 ☕ Grab your coffee, take a deep breath, and let’s talk.

When Love Feels Numb

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2595242/fan_mail/new] You still show up.  Still take care of everybody.  Still answer the phone.  Still handle business. But somewhere between survival mode, disappointment, exhaustion, and carrying everybody else… you stopped feeling the love you know is there. In this deeply honest episode of Coffee Talk, Candace talks about emotional numbness, functioning while falling apart, silent resentment, and the guilt that comes when you feel disconnected from the people you love most. This conversation is for the woman who is tired of pretending she’s okay just because she’s still functioning. Maybe you’re not cold.  Maybe you’re overwhelmed.  Maybe your heart isn’t dead.  Maybe it’s exhausted. This episode is raw, honest, uncomfortable, healing… and necessary.
