In Acts 17:1-15, Paul and his companions get two very different reactions to the preaching of the Kingdom of Heaven. For some, the news of the Kingdom of Heaven is good news, to others it is very bad news. Jesus is the only King who, and His Kingdom is the only Kingdom that, will last forever. If you align with His Kingdom over any other kingdom, you will be gloriously guilty by association, and you must be prepared to endure what ever suffering comes your way.

In Acts 16, the Apostle Paul embarks on his second missionary journey and we see how the Lord guided him into situations where the Lord will add to the Kingdom of Heaven those who were being saved. We ultimately see there is nothing that can restrain the power of Jesus to seek and save the lost.

We must live unapologetically under the authority of Jesus, no matter what that brings into our path.
