Why Even Elite Performers Still Need a Coach with Chris Giomblanco | #507

Building a purpose-driven coaching business and want to attract premium clients with a podcast? Start at joewintersjr.com/start [https://www.joewintersjr.com/start]. ---- Chris Giomblanco spent 20 years in the C-suite, helping scale companies from tens of millions to hundreds of millions in revenue, including building Dell Alienware into a global brand. Today he runs Gio Force Advisory from the Zambian bush, mentoring CEOs, founders, and high-performing executives on how to move from performing at the top to thriving at the top. In this episode, Chris makes the case that nobody reaches elite performance alone. No pro quarterback, no top CEO, nobody. He breaks down his Eight Dimension framework for building a life that's aligned rather than just balanced, why most people chase a number instead of the actions behind it, and how subtraction (removing people, meetings, and habits) is often the real path to having it all. He also shares the turning point that reshaped how he works: a health crisis during a hyper-growth season that landed him in front of a world-class cardiologist who told him to learn to meditate. That moment became the foundation of a hard-won truth he now teaches his clients. You don't step away from success to take care of yourself. You take care of yourself for your success. ---- Join Daily Path Insider here: https://www.joewintersjr.com/insider [https://www.joewintersjr.com/insider]

This was my answer. → Why a guest discovery call is an assessment, not a confirmation → The difference between guests who respect the medium and those who just want access → Why your standards exist to protect your listeners, your business, and your family If you've invested the time, energy, and money into building a podcast that serves your audience and generates revenue for your business, this one is for you. ---- Join Daily Path Insider here: https://www.joewintersjr.com/insider [https://www.joewintersjr.com/insider]

Be the Coach You Want to Be | #504

Book discovery call here: joewintersjr.com/start [https://www.joewintersjr.com/start] In the coaching industry, there's a lot of telling coaches who they should be. I don't agree with that. I believe in helping people think for themselves. So today I'm asking you three questions that I believe every coach needs to sit with. When I look at what makes a great coach, a lot of it comes from the sports world. Great coaches win championships and prepare their athletes to be great beyond their sport. In business coaching, I see three levels: creating transformative results is winning championships, making progress without the transformation is a winning season, and missing the mark entirely is a losing season. The difference between those levels comes down to who the coach is. Their being. Their essence. In this episode, I break down three questions every coach should answer honestly: → What do you stand for, and what do you stand against? → How do you communicate, and are you willing to evolve? → What is your process for self-reflection so you can continue growing no matter what? I also share a story about a fitness coach whose business strategy revealed something most people don't want to talk about, why I believe Nick Saban's approach to recruiting athletes applies directly to how coaches should attract clients, and why blaming the person you're trying to influence for your ineffectiveness is a recipe for staying exactly where you are. ---- Join Daily Path Insider here: https://www.joewintersjr.com/insider [https://www.joewintersjr.com/insider]
