#004: Calling in the wisdom of our ancestors - A tribute episode and prayer

A very special tribute podcast to celebrate our darling marvellous Granny Bea who passed away a year ago today on the 22nd March. Often in our lives there are loved ones who see us deeply, who fully accept our entire being, who know who we are before we even we know who we are. These loved ones, whether blood relative or soul family, hold keys to our hearts and our truths. These are our ancestral roots that form the foundations for our growth. This episode is a journey to celebrate and commemorate these loved ones who have left us and what lessons, wisdom and guidance they brought us. This person to me was my dearest Granny Bea. Our souls felt interconnected way beyond the years we have had together. So today on the anniversary of her passing I created and curated this episode to celebrate her legacy and the many nuggets of wisdom she left us as she passed. I share what her passing taught my family and I about life itself and dissolving the discomfort of death. How up until her last moments she was a beacon of joy and positivity even through the hardships she was facing, the fearlessness of cancer and surrendering herself to take on this sacred rite of passage. I close this podcast and share in a collective prayer and meditation, calling in on all our loved ones who are no longer with us and ask for unique messages and reminders of what their legacies are to us. May we live our lives in memory and in honour of them. May we find the courage to live in healing with them, from them and for them. #003: Exploring our relationship to Death as our relationship to life and healing the fear of it

*Possible Trigger Topic* Potential to feel uncomfortable too. Inviting in your curiosity to journey with me. I understand that Death is a sensitive and tender topic. One that is not spoken about so often. One that in our Western society has a narrative of fear wrapped around it or it gets hidden in a morbid taboo box and buried as if its 6ft underground. Often our relationship to it comes from these places or from unprocessed grief and pain. That is why exploring death is so important. That is why an inner voice guided me to create this episode.  It is important to inquire into our relationship to death to: * Walk through our ego deaths, release old parts of ourselves with more awareness and ease * Develop a healthy non shameful, non judgemental relationship to grieving and feeling pain or discomfort * Unlock or release our fear of the unknown and the uncertain nature of life * Rewiring the brain from control or needing to stay safe, live in comfort zones or avoiding discomfort * Fully surrender and accept it as an inevitable truth of life Beyond the story or perceptions of death is a gateway to unlocking our core fears and is essential when walking a path of healing, growth and living life in our fullest expression. In order to change or heal, we must face pain, we must grieve and allow parts of ourselves to die in order to embody new versions of ourselves. That will also die. We must mourn who we were, who we thought we should be, what we attached ourselves to. Equally, when we are leaning into new ways of living, changing habits, facing our inner most selves it all requires sitting and facing the uncomfortable and unknown. This exploration also helps us to find more ease, trust, acceptance and surrender to death and therefore to life itself. When I first realised that fearing death which is one of the only inevitable truths of life, I was in fact fearing living fully. "From the moment we are born we are dying" In this episode I share a deep and honest story of my own reckoning with the fear of death and how it manifested on my path and why it happened during this moment in my journey. Often whatever the fear that we face is, it's wrapped up in stories that come from the mind, that come from what we've learned, been conditioned to believe, been shown or told and it is up to us to rewrite those stories and recognise they are not real. This is the battle with the ego and this was my first invitation to experience an ego death. Reflecting on this now comes with light-heartedness and it is no longer part of my experience. Im grateful to share it with you. #001: How I got here! Meet me in some of the messy moments :)

Hello beautiful humans! Join me in this first episode as I dive deep into my why, why I am here now after a year off. And creating this podcast space for US - for likeminded souls on the path to remembering and rediscovering our true selves to live life in our fullest, heart-led expression.  In this episode I invite you to come on an intimate journey with me using the Seven Cs framework where I openly share with you some of the parts of my process and how I navigated the realness and real mess of this human experience. The Seven Cs Framework and my souls mission was born because of the pain, the struggles and the challenges I faced and will still face in life. Learning to see all of these as catalysts for change, growth and my souls expansion. I'm here to remind you of that too! Never underestimate the power and purpose in all the mess. We are here to alchemise!  I shared on:  * COURAGE - Breaking away from a picture perfect life to face a 10 year secret that was the catalyst to deep inner healing and truth. * CURIOSITY - Approaching our challenges with wonder. This pulled me out of dark intrusive thoughts on death and dying. * CONNECTION - How deeply do we know our machines? Discovering ADHD and getting to know my unique brain.  * CREATIVITY - Jumping into Creative Freelance life, saying a sacred yes to self-expression after years of being creatively numb. * COMPASSION - Forgiving myself, the shame, the adult guilt to land in deep 'i am' who I am acceptance and opening up the heart to self-love * CARE - Choosing to go sober curious at a time when I realised I was being self-destructive to my body and mind.  * COMMUNITY - Feeling fully held and seen by people on the path is what unlocks our collective healing not just having a therapist.  You are not walking this path alone even though it is self-led and no one is coming to save you! You save you! You heal you!
