Do Good by Doing Better
One word. That’s all it took. In this episode of On Reflection, I want to share a story about that single word that sent me into a spiral of self-questioning, and how unpacking that feeling led to a powerful realization about the labels we use to define ourselves, and the ones we're afraid to claim. It’s a personal exploration of why we sometimes feel like we don't belong, and in my case, what I decided to do about it. In this episode, I explore: * Why a single word can spark a swirl and how we can grow from it. * The power of hearing someone else see something in you that you haven't yet seen yourself. * The pressure to fit our multifaceted careers into neat, specialized boxes. * How the words we use in our internal monologue can redefine our own sense of self. * The realization that we have the power to "punch our own card" and claim the identities we've rightfully earned.
