Most people don’t know that you can improve your eyesight naturally. In this fascinating video, I’ll show you how to reverse poor eyesight and say goodbye to other eye problems like eye strain, glaucoma, and cataracts. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) [https://open.spotify.com/episode/4oKZ046rIAE3zwxDb06ZaO] 0:00 Introduction: How to restore eyesight naturally 0:45 What causes poor eyesight? 5:29 Other eye problems 7:12 How to reverse vision problems naturally 11:38 Foods for better eyesight Poor eyesight starts with the cones in your eye. Cones are receptors in the eye primarily used for detecting color, daylight, and fine detail. Cones have the most mitochondria-packed cells in the entire retina. Mitochondrial loss related to aging can affect vision. As you age, you might notice the following stages of vision loss: 1. Contrast sensitivity loss 2. Need more light 3. See more glare in the dark 4. Age-related macular degeneration—can't see fine detail Cataracts occur when the lens of the eye becomes cloudy. This is often related to diet. Glaucoma is characterized by pressure in the eyes. High doses of vitamin D3 have been found to help reverse glaucoma. Your eyes are very sensitive to blood sugar problems, which is why one of the leading causes of blindness is diabetes. Improve your eyesight and support eye health with the following eye health tips: 1. Red light therapy 2. Regular exercise, intermittent fasting, keto, adequate sleep 3. Focus on far vision 4. Combat genetic susceptibility to poor vision with vitamin A 5. Increase lutein and zeaxanthin 6. Get your body into autophagy to eliminate floaters 7. Increase vitamin D and B3 for glaucoma 8. NAC for cataracts 9. Saffron for age-related macular degeneration 10. Use a reading light 11. Look around the sun (Sunlight hack) 12. Desk reset—take breaks from staring at a screen 13. Address dry eye with vitamin A and B1 14. Avoid advanced glycation end products DATA: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles... episode Red Flags of a Serious Nutrient Deficiency artwork

Red Flags of a Serious Nutrient Deficiency

Iodine is vital for the health of your thyroid, which impacts almost every part of your body. Unfortunately, iodine deficiency has become increasingly common due to depleted soils and chemicals in the water supply. Find out how to spot the early signs of iodine deficiency in this video. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) [https://open.spotify.com/episode/4oKZ046rIAE3zwxDb06ZaO] 0:00 Introduction: Iodine deficiency causes 1:09 Outer eyebrow thinning 1:22 Hair loss 1:36 Hoarseness 1:51 Enlarged tongue 2:05 Unexplained weight gain 2:30 High estrogen 3:30 Lowered IQ 6:00 Iodine function 6:34 Selenium and iodine 6:56 High iodine foods LINKS TO WATER FILTERS: https://www.amazon.com/Travel-Berkey-...https://www.amazon.com/ZeroWater-7-Cu...https://clearlyfiltered.com/products/... Iodine deficiency is becoming incredibly common because most people aren’t getting enough in their food, and chemicals like fluoride and chlorine in the water supply can deplete it. Vegans are at increased risk for iodine deficiency because they aren’t consuming iodine foods such as shellfish, dairy, eggs, and other seafood. Here are 7 strange iodine deficiency signs to look out for. 1. Outer eyebrow thinning If the outer third of your eyebrow is thinning, you could have an iodine deficiency. 2. Hair loss Iodine is vital in ensuring that you have adequate thyroid hormones to support your hair. 3. Hoarseness This may feel like a lump in your throat due to an enlarged thyroid. 4. Enlarged tongue Indentations on the outside of the tongue signify an enlarged tongue. 5. Unexplained weight gain When your thyroid doesn’t have enough iodine, it can slow your metabolism, leading to weight gain. 6. Increased estrogen Heavy periods, excessive cramping, headaches, and weight gain in the hips all signify increased estrogen. Testosterone may also decrease in both men and women if the thyroid isn’t functioning properly. 7. Lowered IQ Thyroid function affects many parts of the brain, including the portion responsible for making decisions, problem-solving, attention, focus, creativity, and memory. Iodine is vital for properly functioning thyroid hormones, which affect every part of the body. Thyroid hormones affect the ovaries and the testicles, regulate estrogen dominance, and help mood and cognitive function. Hypothyroidism is one of the most common health problems worldwide! Selenium is also essential for the thyroid, especially for conditions like Hashimoto’s hypothyroidism. Rather than waiting for iodine deficiency symptoms, add the following iodine-rich foods to your diet to help prevent a problem: •Sea kelp/seaweed •Shellfish •Fish from the ocean •Eggs •Dairy Get a high-quality water filter to eliminate chlorine and fluoride in your drinking water! Can you have a cheat day on keto? Here’s what you need to know! 0:00 Introduction: Can you take breaks on keto? 0:40 When you can cheat on keto 2:28 How to tell if someone is cheating on their diet 2:54 What is an A1C test? 6:18 How to know if you’re in ketosis 7:47 Understanding blood sugar problems 11:40 How to support healthy blood sugar 12:27 Learn more about blood sugar! Let's talk about cheat days on keto. Some weight loss plans have cheat days built into the program. But this isn’t a good idea because it can severely affect your results. Once you go off of a diet plan, it’s really hard to get back on it. That said, sometimes it can be encouraging to go off keto just to see how much better you feel when you’re on keto and doing it correctly. The goal is to create enough health and discipline that you can go off of the keto plan very temporarily and then go right back on. The best way to tell if someone is cheating on keto or staying healthy is to look at their A1C. An A1C test measures how much glucose is stuck to the protein in your blood. The more sugar in your body, the higher percentage of your hemoglobin is affected by glucose. You would want your A1C percentage to be below 5.7. The best way to know that the keto program is working and you’re in ketosis is a loss of appetite. But, all it takes is a very small amount of carbohydrates to take you out of ketosis for a couple of days—even half a glass of wine will have this effect. This means a cheat day will knock you out of the program for a good amount of time. If someone is cheating every other day or every third day, they're not going to make very good progress. How to support healthy blood sugar: 1. Consume nutrient-dense foods on keto (Healthy Keto®) 2. Consume apple cider vinegar in water 3. Consume berberine Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 58, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. Today we're going to talk about a simple way to prevent kidney stones, and it has to do with apple cider vinegar. The most common type of kidney stone is a calcium oxalate stone. In this situation, you have high oxalates and calcium and low citrate. You may have high oxalates from consuming too many high-oxalate foods. Oxalates are in a lot of foods, including keto-friendly foods. High calcium in the urine can be due to a genetic mutation. Your body makes citrates, which bind with calcium to lessen the amount of free calcium in the body. Free calcium is what can bind to oxalates. Drinking more fluids during the day is one of the best ways to prevent kidney stones. I suggest drinking at least two and a half liters of fluids per day if you're prone to getting kidney stones. Another great way to prevent kidney stones is to add electrolyte powder containing potassium citrate or magnesium citrate to your water. The best natural remedy for kidney stones: • To help dissolve kidney stones, add four to six ounces of lemon juice and two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to a large glass of water, and drink up! For kidney stone prevention, add the juice of one lemon or just one tablespoon of lemon juice and two tablespoons of ACV to your water. Why Sea Moss Is Going VIRAL!

Sea moss has gained popularity on social media due to its numerous health benefits, but what exactly is it, and is it worth the hype? Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) [https://open.spotify.com/episode/4oKZ046rIAE3zwxDb06ZaO] Just so you know, my full line of high-quality supplements is available on Amazon — search Dr. Berg Supplements. 0:00 Introduction: Advantages of sea moss 0:05 What is sea moss? 0:23 Benefits of sea moss 1:03 What is the purpose of trace minerals? 1:50 Importance of selenium 2:56 Advantages of iodine 3:40 Carrageenan and its effects Sea moss and sea kelp are both types of seaweed that grow underwater and have similar nutritional value. People have used sea moss on their skin and internally to help with digestion and inflammation. Sea moss contains various nutrients, including amino acids, fiber, vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, and phytonutrients. One of the standout features of sea moss and other types of seaweed is its high mineral content. This includes trace minerals, which are essential for our health but needed in small amounts. Trace minerals are crucial in activating enzymes and proteins that aid in various bodily functions. For example, selenium is essential for converting the inactive form of thyroid hormone (T4) to its active form (T3) and supporting immune function. Sea moss is also a great source of iodine. Iodine is crucial for thyroid health and helps regulate estrogen levels in women. Unfortunately, most land-grown produce lacks trace minerals. To get enough of these essential minerals, we need to consume foods grown near the ocean or directly from the sea itself. Some forms of seaweed, including sea moss, contain carrageenan. While this ingredient has been linked to digestive issues, it’s important to distinguish between naturally occurring carrageenan found in sea moss and the artificially added version found in processed foods.
