Descripción

Can Christians work in sales, entertainment, business, politics, public schools, dealerships, corporate spaces, or industries where things are messy? In this sermon, Pastor Brandon Cobb preaches on faith and work, calling Christians to stop hiding their light and start seeing their workplace as a mission field. From Genesis 3 to Acts 1, Romans 10, Matthew 5, and Luke 5, this message wrestles with what it means to follow Jesus in broken industries without losing the plot of the gospel. If all work is touched by sin, then the answer is not for Christians to retreat into safe spaces and holy huddles. The answer is for the people of God to carry the light of Christ into every corner of the world because Jesus is not just King over church buildings — He is King over the whole earth. This message will challenge you to rethink calling, sanctification, temptation, evangelism, and your job, reminding you that Jesus still heals what looks unhealable — even at work. episode LGBT+ Statement | Eden Church NJ | Pastor Brandon Cobb artwork

LGBT+ Statement | Eden Church NJ | Pastor Brandon Cobb

Tithe to keep the mission moving here 🔋: https://edenchurchnj.churchcenter.com/giving/to/ministry-fund What does Eden Church believe about sexuality, identity, and LGBT+ questions? As Pride Celebrations happen in Asbury Park and Pride Flags get raised in Hackensack and Jersey City, this conversation has come up frequently. In this statement, Pastor Brandon Cobb and Eden Church seek to respond with both conviction and compassion: we believe every person is made in the image of God, every person is worthy of dignity and care, and every person is invited to Jesus. At the same time, we believe Scripture is the final authority for our lives, not culture, desire, pressure, or personal opinion. Our aim is not to win an argument, but to tell the truth in love and make clear how Eden seeks to welcome everyone God loves without affirming everything people believe. This conversation matters because real people are not issues, labels, or debates. They are sons and daughters, friends and neighbors, people carrying stories, wounds, questions, and hopes. Eden’s LGBT+ statement explains our biblical convictions around marriage, sexuality, sin, grace, repentance, belonging, and the gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe Jesus does not meet us with cold distance or careless approval. He meets us with mercy, clarity, and power — washing, sanctifying, and justifying sinners by His Spirit. Our prayer is that this statement helps build trust, bring clarity, and invite every person into the hope and holiness found in Christ. Run to the Father | Sidney Bowie | Eden Church NJ | Sunday Service | 06.21.2026

Tithe to keep the mission moving here 🔋: https://edenchurchnj.churchcenter.com/giving/to/ministry-fund In this message, Sidney Bowie joins us from Crossroads Christian Fellowship in Summit NJ. We are reminded that when pain, shame, sin, or failure expose what is broken in us, our first instinct is often to cover it, hide it, or manage it ourselves. But from Adam and Eve in the garden, to David’s attempts to conceal his sin, to Peter throwing himself into the water to get to Jesus, Scripture shows us that our deepest need is not better self-protection — it is the covering only God can provide. Whether you are new to faith, returning after distance, or learning to trust God more deeply, this message invites you to stop hiding, stop managing the wound on your own, and run to the Father who meets you with mercy, grace, forgiveness, and love. episode 🌈❓ Are you open and affirming? | Eden Church NJ | 06.14.2026 | Pastor Brandon Cobb artwork

🌈❓ Are you open and affirming? | Eden Church NJ | 06.14.2026 | Pastor Brandon Cobb

Tithe to keep the mission moving here 🔋: https://edenchurchnj.churchcenter.com/giving/to/ministry-fund [https://edenchurchnj.churchcenter.com/giving/to/ministry-fund] What does it mean for a church to welcome everyone without affirming everything? In this message from 1 Corinthians 6:9–11, Pastor Brandon Cobb addresses one of the most honest and difficult questions facing Christians today: Can we love people deeply while still submitting to the authority of Scripture fully? The gospel does not call us to ignore sin, soften sin, or make sin more acceptable. The gospel tells the truth about sin so Jesus can actually wash it away. God’s love is not fragile. It is holy, strong, patient, and powerful enough to confront what is broken without rejecting the person He came to redeem. This sermon explores what the Bible says about sexual immorality, the meaning of “open and affirming,” the limits of “love is love,” and why Scripture gives us categories for obedience, not loopholes for desire. From Jesus’ words in Matthew 15 to Paul’s teaching in 1 Corinthians 6, this message invites us to see that communion with Christ means renouncing every false allegiance and receiving the mercy of the One who does not leave us in shame. At Eden Church, we believe every word of the Bible, we welcome everyone God loves, and we trust that Jesus still washes, sanctifies, and justifies sinners by His Spirit. episode 🙉 Better Sex: What Nobody Told You About It | Pastor Brandon Cobb artwork

🙉 Better Sex: What Nobody Told You About It | Pastor Brandon Cobb

Is the Bible actually anti-sex — or has culture been lying to you this whole time? In this message, Pastor B breaks down what God actually says about sex, why the biblical vision for sexuality is more expansive, beautiful, and fulfilling than anything culture is offering, and why the so-called "sexual revolution" isn't as new or as free as you've been told. Whether you're single, dating, living together, or married — this message will challenge how you think about sex, relationships, and what it means to fully trust God with every area of your life. This is not your typical church sex talk. The Waiting Room Of Faith | Pastor Jordan Rice | Eden Church NJ

Tithe to keep the mission moving here 🔋: https://edenchurchnj.churchcenter.com/giving/to/ministry-fund In The Waiting Room of Faith, guest preacher Jordan Rice, Lead Pastor of Renaissance Church NYC, walks through Luke 8:40–56 and reminds us that waiting is not wasted when Jesus is in the room. For anyone struggling with delay, disappointment, anxiety, or the quiet belief that doing the right thing should make God move on our timeline, this message speaks directly to the tension between what we expect from God and what grace actually gives. Through the story of Jairus, the woman with the issue of blood, and the compassion of Jesus, this sermon invites us to keep our eyes fixed on the One who does not move when life feels uncertain. The waiting room of faith may feel frustrating, but it is often where God does His deepest work of transformation — healing what we can see, restoring what we cannot, and reminding us that our lives are held by more grace than we even realize.
