Tash Alex is a comedy writer, comedian and motivational coach who is the founder of Head Held High, a charity coaching young people at risk of exclusion/affiliation with youth violence. Head Held High was set up in 2013 to empower young people to not be dominated by past actions, their ego or environment. Tash is a passionate, determined and creative woman who is driven by her heart. Her motivation is always to connect to the truth of a person and work from there. She is writing a comedy called 'Coach' inspired by her work to reach more young people. Head Held High was set up in 2013 and is a charity coaching young people at risk of exclusion, lacking in motivation or affiliation with youth violence. They lead highly interactive workshops/programmes to enable the individual to reveal courage to take new action for new results. Their 'The Best You' programme run in partnership with anti knife crime charity The Ben Kinsella Trust packs a metaphoric punch and achieves life changing results. It is a 6 week course broken down into 1 x 1.5 hour sessions a week focusing on transforming aggressive responses, breaking through learnt behaviour, revealing true passions and goals, creating a winning personal statement and more. 'Stand up for yourself' is also a powerful confidence through comedy course which enables young people to dig deep to find the funny in their life, improve mental health, communication and learn how to craft and perform comedy based on them!
