On today’s very special Mother’s Day episode, I bring on my mom to go over Psalm 5. She shares the way she’s kept a firm faith through all of her life even when circumstances seemed to oppose her. Jesus' call in Mark 10 reminds us to come to Him as a child. Ask like a child. Depend like a child. Believe like a child.  Leave behind the scrutiny, the worries, and the pre-requisites, and just simply come to our good Father.

Unfiltered Honesty with God- Ep. 7 (Psalm 88)

This episode takes a look at real, raw, and sometimes harsh honesty with the Lord. Those times of doubt, blame, and anger against God that crowd our minds and heart in times of discouragement and waiting. When our faith feels diminished, where do we go? Who do we bring our anger and complaints to? Psalm 88 is a sorrowful cry to the Lord, with no resolution at the end. It’s simply emotion, despair, and longing. “God, where are You?” But considering how this Psalm is included in God's Holy Word as worship, tells us that God doesn’t discount us for these things but invites us to bring them to Him! We don’t have to pretend everything is great. We can tell God the truth, even if it’s harsh.

God's Extravagant Love Poured Out Through His Church- Ep. 6 (Ephesians 3)

Ephesians 3 is an extravagant illustration of God’s immense love for His children. In adopting us as His own, we are also adopted into a family of believers to which God uses to demonstrate His love for us even more. In this week’s episode, Daniela reads through Ephesians 3 and dwells on how EXTRA ABUNDANT God’s love is. So much that it can’t be grasped. How He involves others in our experience of relationship with Him. And how being children of God makes true unity possible.
