Episode 14: Giggling with Granny Part 2

On Episode 14 (Part One) of Fascinating Folks we get to giggle with my super special guest, my Granny, Vera Crock! My Granny is now a young 91 years old, as she was born in 1934, a year before my favorite singer Elvis Presley, and yes, you heard that right! When this was recorded she was 90! My Granny grew up on a farm with a whole bunch of brothers and sisters, and we get to learn a little about her life growing up, and then meeting and marrying my Gramps, Bob! Otherwise known as, Robert Crock! They ended up having three sons, Jeff, Terry and Ron. Terry being my dad! From discovering she does not like working with money to finding out she wrote a song and used to play guitar to seeing a bit of her silly self, I think you may enjoy this interview. There may be some pauses, and quiet moments, hopefully mostly just being seconds of pondering. Granny has a huge faith in God and you can see that in her spirit of positivity! My favorite thing she says is, "It's a crazy life!", although I am unsure she said that in this episode? If anyone catches that, please let me know! Granny has a laidback and soft look on life, and you can find her nowadays doing puzzles, laughing and reading her Bible every night before bed! Episode 13: Opening Up with Odett and Nathalie

On Episode 13 of Fascinating Folks we get to nestle in between Nathalie and Odett’s narration of a little bit about life in the nook of Pennsylvania! Both of these kindhearted young ladies share a common workplace, the place we all met, a tiny boutique, Francesca’s! Although, they both work at different locations, we all share the girly spirit of Francesca’s and enjoying working with customers to feel their best! Nathalie and Odett talk about what it is like working as assistant managers at the shop and we hear them open up about what may be next for them! Family and home are both so important to these young ladies. Nathalie is proud of her Mexican heritage and Odett is grateful to her Dominican Republic birthplace. On this episode of Fascinating Folks we see how music and theatre has molded the life Shana is pursuing. We talk about our mutual love of Lucille Ball. Shana brings us along her college journey of changing majors and having her first role in a play. Shana is now the owner of her own theatre named The Musical Box Theatre Company and she is thriving right there with it. We talk about the miracle our Lord brought to her family’s life saving her beautiful niece. Her life replicates a beautiful melody and her faith in Jesus stays bold in her heart. On Episode 11 of Fascinating Folks we take an excursion through memories with Elise! Elise has lived in so many places for being so young. While she currently resides in Pennsylvania, attending college for Biblical Studies and music, she has a lifetime of stories where she grew up in Asia with her family. Elise and her family survived a horrific earthquake when she was just a little girl. She has been truly immersed in life far away from the East Coast in America, and she feels so fondly about her childhood. Her love of Jesus shines off her smile!
