Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2279816/fan_mail/new] On this week’s episode , we visit an unusual situation, but yet one most of have had if you’ve been practicing for more than a just a few years.  The topic of this episode is the New patient that reaches out to you and your office, needs to be seen “ asap” and is in horrible pain.  On previous episodes we’ve discussed the regular and routine new patient procedure, and the subsequent home instruction and leading into the great report of findings. While all of that is incredibly important, and is by far the most common way a new patients enter our offices, on occasion we get the new patient calling or even “walking in” that is in 10/10 on the pain scale. In a cased like that, what you do , and don’t do can mean the difference between relief for the patient and a great reputation being built for you OR little to no relief for them with them telling everyone forever how you failed them and so they got relief someplace else.   I hope you enjoy this discussion of care for the super acute new patient.

Episode 134: Expert Advice From A Chiropractic Defense Attorney - Mr.Paul weber

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2279816/fan_mail/new] Welcome to this episode of ‘For the Love of Chiropractic’. On this episode I got to sit down and speak with a man I have known and deeply respected for many years, Mr. Paul Weber, of the law firm Hyatt and Weber.  Paul has prevailed for clients at local, state and federal trial and appellate court levels, as well as in arbitration and mediation forums. He has secured wins in numerous complex civil litigation cases, including a coverage dispute between two insurance companies involving a claim in excess of $70 million; complex million-dollar medical malpractice suits; and a high-profile coverage and liability action brought by a concert attendee who was severely injured when a fan dove into the audience from the venue’s stage. Clients praise Paul for his hands-on service approach. He evaluates the merits of each case, discusses all available options, and stays engaged at every stage of the process – whether pursuing resolution through out-of-court negotiation or at trial. Drawing on his experience representing plaintiffs in personal injury and medical malpractice litigation, Paul frequently counsels medical professionals and businesses on litigation avoidance and insurance coverage strategies. He regularly presents seminars to chiropractors and offers practical, frank advice on ways to implement best-practice tactics designed to mitigate risk. I hope you enjoy my conversation with my dear friend and guest,  Mr. Paul Weber.

Episode 133: Seeing The Hidden Fees In Your Office Retirement Plan! Mr. Paul Sippil, A Forensic Retirement Plan Expert

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2279816/fan_mail/new] On this episode I had the opportunity to speak with Mr. Paul Sippil. He is one of the world's only forensic 401(k) consultants, providing expert guidance that protects your people, your profits, and your peace of mind. He specializes in uncovering hidden fees, conflicts of interest, and unethical practices in retirement plans that quietly cost business owners and their employees thousands of dollars. From his early days as an auditor, accountant, and financial advisor, Paul has focused on protecting ‘businesses bottom lines’. A single conversation about 401(k) plan tax forms sparked a discovery that has now, defined his career: The widespread abuse and unethical practices in the retirement plan industry-often at the expense of the business owners and their employees. Through extensive research and firsthand conversations with company leaders, Paul uncovered how hidden fees, poor plan design, and conflicted advisors quietly drain profits and create compliance risks. Determined to change that, he founded his practice to bring fairness, transparency, and accountability to retirement plan management. Today, Paul works with firms across many  industries-including law firms, private healthcare practices, and professional B2B service companies. He is helping them uncover hidden costs, strengthen fiduciary oversight, and safeguard both their employees' futures and their company's financial health. His expertise has been cited in Investment News, Fiduciary News, and WealthManagement.com for his leadership in reforming how businesses, like ours, approach retirement plans.  I hope you enjoy my conversation with Mr. Paul Sippil.
