Losing my mother, father, uncle, and brother, each in their own way, changed me. My brother, he passed away alone, wasn't found for four days. That mess stays with you. Now, every time I get behind that wheel, anxiety kicks in. I worry, man. I'm starting to wonder if it's the same cognitive decline my parents went through, if I'm headed down that road too. Money's tighter than tight, and with everything else I've gotta carry, the emotional load just keeps buildin'. I'm always holdin' others up, and sometimes I feel like I'm sinking myself. But then I get down to Texas to film the podcast, and that moment... it lit me up. My sister and daughter, they came through, showing love and pride. That felt like something I needed. And let me tell you, that homelessness episode? My favorite by far. There's this one guest, formerly incarcerated, struggling, feeling lost.
