I have my homie Caesar on the podcast. Growing up in Otay he experienced a household of addiction. At a young age he got involved with gangs and was in and out of the system. Having spent half his life in prison using drugs to pass the time he was released serving a 13-year prison sentence. After starting out good he coped with his mental health problems with drugs and spiraled deep into addiction. After surviving multiple fentanyl overdoses and hitting rock bottom. Caesar decided to go to treatment and get recovery a full chance and has been cleaned for over 11 months. I have my friend Kayleigh on the podcast. She opens up about growing up in Santee and drinking to fit in middle school which resulted to long battle with alcoholism and addiction. Al partied with his friends and got to experiment with weed Cocaine and hallucinogens. Getting deep into alcoholism Al gave up drinking in 1991 but substituted with meth in moderation. At the age of 51 with his life falling apart and willing to devote himself fully into recovery starting going to treatment, Al has been sober for over 20 years!
