After the loss of my second baby, I knew I needed to deal with my trauma in order to move forward. Dr. Scott Bush was referred to me by a friend and really helped me remove and heal from my trauma during that time.  Dr. Bush is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Clinical Sexologist, and Sex Therapist with a passion to help people. He specializes in treating individuals with traumatic injuries and who have had traumatic life situations. He also specializes working with individuals with weight problems, finding underlying emotional, mental, or psychological factors that hinder weight loss. Additionally, he specializes in sexual intimacy and treating sexual dysfunction. His patients find his style of counseling extremely effective and helpful. Ep. 22 | My Postpartum Weight Loss Journey - Part 1!

In this episode, I share with you what I've done during the first month of my postpartum weight loss journey. Three months ago, I had my 3rd baby and at the new year, I decided it was time to get healthy again!  I cleaned out my pantry of all our treats left over from the holidays that I found myself wanting to constantly snack on. I also printed out a paper calendar to put on my fridge that would help me keep track of my goals and progress. I set a goal for myself to walk 5,000 steps a day and to start logging my macros in myfitness pal. In just one month of doing these things, I was able to lose 9 lbs!
