She’s not sloppy. She’s not posting about it. She’s the mom( or Pops ). The caregiver. The over-functioner. And she’s pouring “just one” every afternoon — sometimes by noon. In this Episode 15, Erika M gets brutally honest about midlife drunks, and the women hiding booze in a boot in the closet, for the IG Moms, the Tik Tok Moms, the bored housewife in her early 30's married to Pro Golf hubby that's old enough to be her actual Father.  For the Divorcee that just can't get over him leaving you for younger her. The hidden epidemic of daily drinking — the polished exterior, the wine-in-the-Stanley culture, and the emotional chaos many are trying to hide quietly., has gotten so loud with Jose, Rosé and Xani it's its own secret culture. With truth, compassion, clarity, and zero judgment, Erika shares hard statistics, real stories, and her own journey through sobriety and the shame of relapse.  Whether you’re sober curious, in recovery, or silently wondering if your “normal” drinking isn’t so normal — this one’s for you.  It's for anyone with a desire to stop drinking. 💔 Why are so many midlife women drinking more than ever before? What are the lies we tell ourselves to keep going? This isn’t about shame — it’s about waking up. It's about NOT being so "Anonymous" its about not feeling ashamed and reclaiming your place, maybe for the first time ever. ⸻ Disclaimer: This episode contains sensitive content related to addiction, mental health, and recovery. The Karmic! Secure vs Insecure Attachment

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2467690/fan_mail/new] What if the relationships that challenge you the most are actually revealing the deepest parts of yourself that are ready to heal? In Episode 21, I'm unpacking the difference between karmic relationships, secure attachment, and insecure attachment through the lens of my own personal experiences. I share how I recognized the patterns I was repeating, what those relationships were teaching me, and how I began healing the emotional wounds that kept me attached to unhealthy cycles. This isn't about blaming ourselves or others, it's about becoming aware. Sometimes what feels like an intense connection is actually an invitation to heal unresolved trauma, abandonment wounds, or limiting beliefs. I'll explain how I learned to distinguish between love based in peace and connection versus attachment groomed in fear, anxiety, or emotional instability. In this episode, we discuss: * What a karmic relationship can teach you. * The difference between secure and insecure attachment. * Signs you may be operating from anxious, avoidant, or fearful attachment patterns. * How I identified these patterns within myself. * The healing practices that helped me create healthier relationships. * Why peace, consistency, and emotional safety are stronger indicators of love than emotional highs and lows. This episode is an invitation to reflect on your own relationship patterns with compassion and curiosity. Healing doesn't happen overnight, but awareness is where transformation begins. As we grow, we learn that real love isn't about chasing, fixing, or proving our worth, it's about feeling safe enough to be fully ourselves. If this conversation resonates with you, share it with someone who may be navigating their own healing journey. Together, we can normalize choosing peace over chaos and growth over repeated cycles. Remember: You don't heal by finding the right person, you heal by becoming the version of yourself that no longer mistakes chaos for real connection.  Support the show [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2467690/support] ..."Grab your drink, we need to talk"...

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2467690/fan_mail/new] Episode 20 | GOD 1st Marks a new chapter of Hart 2 Harts. Welcome and welcome back!  In this episode, Erika speaks openly about spiritual discernment, healing, trauma, rebuilding, faith, emotional warfare, and what it means to return to God fully after seasons of confusion, pain, distraction, and awakening. Centered around Luke 10:16 through 10:19, this conversation explores authority through Christ, protecting your spirit, confronting darkness honestly, and understanding that not every voice, influence, relationship, or path is aligned with God. This is not a conversation about perfection. It is a conversation about truth. About surrender. About discernment. About healing. And about reclaiming peace through the power and faith of Almighty Jesus. Hart 2 Harts Podcast Hosted by Erika M “Fear is not your identity. Confusion is not your identity. The RETURN. The BECOMING. Being your 10.0 Version

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2467690/fan_mail/new] Episode 17: The Return, the Becoming, and Being Your 10.0 Version I'm bacckkkk and with Episode 17 hitting the restart button, we explore what it really means to return to yourself after growth, burnout, or loss and how becoming isn’t about transformation overnight, but alignment over time.  You can't stay in healing mode like most do!! NO!  Get up & Get out!!  Start reinventing yourself and your life!!! This episode unpacks the quiet courage it takes to shed old versions of yourself, old systems and patterns that never really grooved anyway, its about walking out of the dark and back into the light where we are meant to live., integrating the lessons learned, and stepping fully into who we are right now.  We talk about releasing outdated identities, redefining success on your own terms, and choosing consistency over perfermoring as you build your “10.0 version.”   This isn’t about mainstream hustles or airy fairy reinvention, its not a Tarot lesson ether, it’s about embodiment, self trust, and showing up with intention to live your Second Chapter fully and aware. If you’re in a season of rebuilding, reclaiming, or realigning, this episode is your reminder that becoming is not a destination it’s a practice, a personal ritual you choose or not... the choices are always made for you, or by you, this episode  asks you  who is driving you?  "Grab that drink, lets begin....
