This week John’s gospel tells a story that includes: Jesus, a whip, and overturned tables. Whoa – what’s that all about?! What happened to all the gentle lamb images John has been painting over the last several weeks? I pray this week that God invites us to remember that his heart is for ALL people to receive the good news of the gospel.

Water into Wine

This week we make the move in John Chapter 2 – which begins with the a famous story: Jesus turning water into wine (John 2:1-12).  We are excited to have Governing Team Elder Brian Prange share the message with us this week, as he helps us see how maybe there is a little more to the story than just water to wine.  Maybe the good news of the Kingdom of God is held within this story.  And maybe there is an invitation for each of us to receive in it.

Come and See

This week we finish the first chapter John as we look at John 1:35-51 and watch as Jesus calls his first disciples.  I've been reminded this week how this moment is the beginning of Jesus' own mission statement 'to seek and save the lost'.  It starts with him asking 'where are you', and extending an invitation to 'come and see'.

Behold the Lamb

This week, Pastor Keith leads us through John 1:19–34 exploring the tension of identity, what happens when we’re asked, honestly, “Who are you?” Stripping away roles, expectations, and pressure, we look at how John the Baptist models both clarity and humility by first naming who he is not, and then embracing who God has actually called him to be.

Word Became Flesh

This as we kick off our new series exploring the Gospel According to John, Pastor Keith invites us into the opening of John’s Gospel with a simple but profound call: receive the Light, become children of God, and behold Jesus. As we reflect on how we often search for identity and life in lesser things, we’re reminded that true life is found in Him alone. Even in the midst of darkness, His light still shines—and it has not been overcome. Together, we explore what it means to stop striving, receive grace, embrace truth, and create space in our lives to truly see Jesus—and be transformed.
