Descripción

Today I chatted with my hubby Thomas about what it's like being a spouse to someone going through anxiety, depression, and panic attacks. He answers some questions and gives some advice to ones supporting a loved one through mental health. I give a few tips on how to provide support, especially when you can feel so helpless in those situations. Give compassion, listen, and just provide support but also take care of yourself and hold boundaries. I would love to hear more tips or what you would love for support, on my instagram @jenn264. Lets chat!!

Working Through the Feelings of Healing

I'm back! It feels so good to be back with you and bringing you another episode. Sometimes in life you have to push things to the back burner. I give a great example of how I like to think about priorities because we can't do it all - and that's okay!! In this episode I chat about the feelings i've had going through healing and my mental health journey. I let you into my brain with me trying to pinpoint why feelings of happy, letting go of my wounds, and success makes me feel weird. I don't know my personality without my mental health struggles. That's not my personality though so time to build some new neuropathways and switch the mindshift. I would love to hear if you relate to anything in this episode or just to chat with you on my Instagram - @jenn264

Sam's Journey to Overcoming Agoraphobia, anxiety, and OCD

Hey friend! Welcome back! This episode I had my first guest interview with my inspiring friend Samantha Hale. We chatted about her mental health journey dealing with Panic, anxiety, PPD, OCD, and agoraphobia. She is a brave fighter who never gives up even in the darkness of mental health. You will also hear about her journey with ACT and Exposure therapy. Incredibly thankful for Sam sharing her story, to hopefully help at least one person not feel so alone. You can follow and chat with Samantha on her Instagram @memoirs_ofanxiety Here is the book and Instagram resources mentioned in this episode: Needing to Know for Sure: A CBT-Based Guide to Overcoming Compulsive Checking and Reassurance Seeking [https://a.co/d/5iW5Klw] Micheline Maalouf Instagram https://instagram.com/micheline.maalouf?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= A healthy push https://instagram.com/ahealthypush?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= Your anxiety took kit https://instagram.com/youranxietytoolkit?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
