Descripción

This week we start with the realities of the school holidays, being stuck at home ill and zooming into the telly , and how sickness somehow does the rounds in every household. Bobby somehow manages a rare win on the grabbing machines down Brighton Pier, and we get into the small wins in life—like finally sending the kids back to school, the unmistakable smell of manure in the countryside, and realising success now is basically just keeping plants alive. In Spin the Yarn, we go through all the things parents told us growing up that we just accepted—don’t swallow your gum, your face will stay like that if the wind changes, the dummy fairy, and the strict rule about never turning the light on in the car. From the mystery of the ice cream van to the stories behind dead pets, it’s all the stuff that made sense at the time. Midnight Cringe sees Bobby make a serious error, spilling a full tank of water in the loft of a very posh house in Fulham… not his finest moment. We finish up with Sian in the algorithm, somehow reading and listening to the same book at the same time and trying to make sense of it. A proper mix of everyday life, throwbacks, and questionable moments. Lets get into it🏠 🧇

episode Ep 25 - Proof Of Reincarnation? artwork

Ep 25 - Proof Of Reincarnation?

Father's Day sees Bobby living the dream—fishing all day, enjoying a Toblerone, a few beers, some sweets, and a well-earned nap, while Sian somehow ends up cutting the grass and helping around the house. This week's Spin the Yarn explores two of the most compelling reincarnation cases ever recorded. From the eerie similarities surrounding the Pollock Twins to the extraordinary story of Dorothy Eady, who believed she had lived a previous life in Ancient Egypt, we ask the question... could reincarnation be real? In Midnight Cringe, Sian finally gets to meet her podcast heroes, Tony and Ryan, after travelling across London for a secret meet and greet. The only problem? The first thing she blurts out is that she's been waiting ages... and desperately needs a poo. We finish with this week's algorithm, featuring a 36-year-old woman living life as a 12-year-old, before Bobby crosses the line once again with the bizarre case of a woman who woke up speaking with a Chinese accent after a migraine. Ancient mysteries, awkward encounters, and the usual waffle. 🏠🧇

episode Ep 24 - The Croydon Cat Killer artwork

Ep 24 - The Croydon Cat Killer

This week we catch up on Blue Therapy, explain why you should avoid Ed Sheeran's One Shot at all costs, and Sian continues her commitment to Married at First Sight Australia. In Who Pissed in Your Horse-Riding Shoe?, Bobby is fed up with people shouting upstairs and then refusing to answer when you shout back, while Sian declares war on the calories hidden in fruit. For this week's Spin the Yarn, Sian investigates the strange case of the Croydon Cat Killer, exploring the bizarre details, public panic, and theories that a serial killer may have been responsible. In Load of Waffle, Bobby presents two unbelievable stories—one completely made up and one entirely true. Can you work out whether it's the girl with two brains or the Jim Twins that actually happened? We finish with this week's algorithm, featuring a 63-year-old weed smuggler, nostalgic memories of old mobile phones, and a few more of Bobby's favourite internet clips. True crime, strange stories, and the usual waffle. 🏠🧇

episode Ep 22 - The Legend Of The Bell Witch artwork

Ep 22 - The Legend Of The Bell Witch

This week, Sian has gone and got her hair cut again, because apparently that's what people do when they have their lives together. Bobby kicks off What's Your Beef? with a rant about the return of Jeffrey Dahmer-style glasses and the realisation that the younger generation have absolutely no idea where the trend came from. In Spin the Yarn, Sian takes us deep into the Appalachian Mountains to uncover the chilling legend of the Bell Witch. From unexplained noises to sinister encounters, we explore one of America's most famous paranormal tales, along with a few other strange stories from the region. Over in the algorithm, we discuss the growing army of influencers trying to sell us things we definitely don't need, discover a surprising fact about Akon's real name, and Bobby rounds things off with a collection of audio clips that had us crying with laughter. A mix of ghost stories, grumbles, and complete b**llocks—as usual. 🏠🧇

episode Ep 21 - The Thailand Prison Escape artwork

Ep 21 - The Thailand Prison Escape

This week starts with Sian nearly chopping off her finger, Von Pickle adding a few questionable words to his vocabulary, and Bobby joining the neighbourhood WhatsApp group, where he's already become acquainted with Trudy—the local Karen. In Spin the Yarn, Bobby tells the incredible story of David McMillan and his daring escape from a prison in Thailand. It's one of those stories that sounds too mad to be true, packed with tension, close calls, and enough sweaty-palm moments to keep you hooked. Sian also introduces a brand-new segment, What's Your Beef?, where she gets something off her chest that's been winding her up all week—parents bringing older kids to parties and completely taking over what should be for the little ones. We finish off in the algorithm with some surprisingly wholesome content about saving animals and people generally being decent for a change. A good mix of prison escapes, neighbourhood drama, and minor grievances this week. Lets get into it🏠🧇
