I Am Uniquely Designed: I Am Special to God/I Matter to God

Our Bible story this week is from Ephesians 1. In this letter to Christians in Ephesus, Paul prayed that the people who follow Jesus would have strong faith and know that they are special to God! God promised to give them the Holy Spirit to help them follow Him and point others to Him. This is true for us as well! This week we get to teach preschoolers and kids that God loves us so much, and He sent Jesus so we could have a relationship with Him. God did this not because of anything we did to earn it but because of His love. I Am Uniquely Designed: Where I Live Is Special to God/Where I Live Matters to God

We get to teach preschoolers and kids that where they live is special and matters to God. In Jeremiah 29:1-14, God told His people that they should live their lives well, even while they were in captivity in Babylon. God’s people were not happy about living in Babylon. But God taught them that when the place around them thrived, they would thrive. They could seek Him and follow Him in Babylon. Whether we like or not, we can know, love, and follow God in that place. God designed us to love and follow Him wherever we live because where we live matters to God. I Am Uniquely Designed: My Life Is Special to God/My Life Matters to God

Preschoolers and kids will learn this week that their lives are special and matter to God. In Judges 13–16, we will teach about a man named Samson, whose life mattered to God even though he made wrong choices. God uniquely designed Samson, and He has uniquely designed each and every preschooler and kid in our ministry too. Our lives matter to God because we matter to God. He loves us, and He designed us for a purpose—to love Him and help others know and love Him too. I Am Uniquely Designed: My Name Is Special to God/My Name Matters to God

This week we will teach preschoolers and kids that their names are special and matter to God. God called a boy named Samuel by name and gave him an important message. Through our Bible story from 1 Samuel 3, preschoolers and kids will see that God uniquely designed Samuel, and Samuel’s name mattered to God. I Am Here to Share Jesus: God Leads Me to Have Faith (Hooray Day/Game Changer)

This week we have a special Hooray Day for preschool and Game Changer for kids. These are special sessions when we emphasize how salvation through Jesus is something to celebrate and it changes the game in our lives. We will teach preschoolers and kids that God leads us to have faith through Jesus, which is a Game Changer! Hebrews 11 talked about faith, which is trusting and believing God. This passage is filled with stories about men and women who, when faced with difficulties and challenges, clung to faith in God. God led them to have faith, and both preschoolers and kids will learn that God also leads us to have faith. Because of Jesus, we can trust and believe God and have a forever relationship with Him.
