From “I Got It” to Letting Go: Julie Marty Pearson on Podcasting, Purpose & Owning Your Voice In this episode I get to welcome Julie Marty Pearson, the podcast mentor who helped me launch the I Got it Girl podcast, to discuss how podcasting creates an equal playing field and why more women’s voices are needed in the space. Julie shares her journey from being the “good girl” who stuffed emotions—experiencing early health issues, later kidney disease, her father’s death, and a hysterectomy—into a breaking point during COVID when life slowed down and she could no longer distract herself with achievement. She explains how trying career coaching and a career podcast didn’t work and then starting a pet podcast helped her find her passion for interviewing and connection, leading to a coaching business helping others launch and grow shows. They explore releasing “shoulds,” integrating personal and professional selves, and embracing creativity, fun, and experimentation without fear of failure. 00:00 Welcome and Guest Intro 01:12 Julie’s Podcasting Mission 02:24 Height Stories and Zoom Equality 04:06 Podcasting as Equalizer 04:50 Inspired by Mel Robbins 06:38 Julie’s Podcast Origin Story 08:21 What the Show Is About 09:31 Childhood Roots of Overachieving 10:55 Health Crisis and COVID Wake-Up 14:15 Breaking Free from Shoulds 16:43 Family Work Ethic and Burnout 17:37 Trusting Inner Knowing 18:27 Breaking the Hustle Pattern 19:52 Health Crash and Reset 20:23 Finding the Right Coaching Lane 21:31 Pets Podcast Sparks Purpose 22:11 Connection for Childfree Women 27:33 Becoming Fully Yourself 29:39 Imposter Thoughts and BS Meter 31:35 Let Your Inner Girl Play 33:42 Where to Find Julie You can find and follow Julie at: Julie’s Website https://www.juliemartypearson.com/ [https://www.juliemartypearson.com/] My Linktree: https://linktr.ee/podcastyourstorynow [https://linktr.ee/podcastyourstorynow] Julie’s Facebook https://www.facebook.com/jmartypearson [https://www.facebook.com/jmartypearson] Julie’s LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/julie-r-marty-pearson-psyd [https://www.linkedin.com/in/julie-r-marty-pearson-psyd] Julie on Instagram https://instagram.com/podcastyourstorynow [https://instagram.com/podcastyourstorynow] Julie’s YouTube Channel https://www.youtube.com/@juliemartypearson [https://www.youtube.com/@juliemartypearson] For all things Coach Jackie click here https://destinymakers.net/links [https://destinymakers.net/links] You will find access to all my programs, freebies, and ways to create your freedom life!

Stop Doing It Alone: Let Go, Ask for Help, and find Community with Divorce Coach Mardi Winder

Coach Jackie welcomes Mardi Winder to the I Got It Girl podcast to discuss moving from survival-driven independence to letting go of control, asking for help, and building supportive relationships. Mardi, a strategic divorce consultant and high-conflict divorce coach, shares key turning points where she learned to reach out—after losing her adoptive parents before age 20, during her divorce, and after caring for and later losing her second husband. They explore how women’s support networks, masterminds, and “take what you like and leave the rest” thinking create better solutions than going it alone, and how corporate scarcity and information-hoarding can limit growth. Mardi explains finding community in a rural Texas farm life through yoga, volunteering, classes, and trying new activities, and outlines her path from mediation and domestic violence work to divorce coaching. 00:00 Welcome and Introductions 01:01 Mardi’s Farm Life 02:00 What Is an I Got It Girl 02:19 Jackie’s Survival Story 03:40 Learning to Let Go 04:07 Mardi’s Early Losses 05:38 Divorce Wall and Support 07:49 Masterminds and Real Advice 09:34 Take What You Like 12:13 Stop Hoarding Information 14:40 Corporate Scarcity Mindset 17:04 AI Won’t Replace Humans 17:34 Finding Friends After Loss 18:53 Yoga Grief Release 20:43 Try New Communities 22:21 Identity Beyond Work 24:47 Career Path to Divorce Coaching 27:31 Everything Connects Later 29:55 Mindset Lessons From Hard Years 32:05 Where to Find Mardi 33:04 Ask for Help Early 35:09 Closing Thanks and Subscribe You can find Mardi Winder at the following links: Website: https://www.divorcecoach4women.com/ [https://www.divorcecoach4women.com/] Podcast: The D Shift: Redefining Divorce and Beyond LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/mardiwinderadams/ [https://www.linkedin.com/in/mardiwinderadams/] Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/divorcecoach4women/ [https://www.instagram.com/divorcecoach4women/] Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Divorcecoach4women [https://www.facebook.com/Divorcecoach4women] YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@divorcecoach4women [https://www.youtube.com/@divorcecoach4women] For all things Coach Jackie click here https://destinymakers.net/links [https://destinymakers.net/links] You will find access to all my programs, freebies, and ways to create your freedom life!

Navigating Life's Adversities with "Big Dill Energy" with Elana Feldman

In this episode we laughed so hard I almost peed my pants with Elana Feldman! Elana, a Southern California “intergenerational ambassador,” explains her purpose of serving others, especially seniors, bridging generational gaps, and acting as a cheerleader who helps people see their own light. They discuss giving without expecting anything in return, learning to receive, and moving from transactional helping to healthy support. Elana shares how multiple car accidents and later a back injury forced her to slow down, ask for help, release control, and stop letting setbacks define her, including stepping away from a HIIT training role that no longer fit her body. They emphasize self-love, listening to the body, and daily progress. 00:00 Welcome and Introductions 01:06 Pickle and Playful Banter 03:20 Elana’s Mission and Seniors 06:00 Learning to Receive Support 08:11 From Transactional to Genuine Giving 10:22 What the I Got It Girl Means 13:06 Elana’s Car Accident Wake Up Call 16:06 Gifts in Adversity 17:46 Back Injury Wakeup 20:29 Letting Go of Alignment 21:28 Respect Your Body Today 22:39 Elders Redefine Fitness 24:17 Self Love Mirror 26:31 How to Connect 27:44 Never Alone Takeaways 29:21 Receiving as a Gift 30:24 Joyful Wrap Up You can follow and connect with Elana at the following links: Website: https://yourhealthvibes.com [https://yourhealthvibes.com] Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/elana.feldman.3 [https://www.facebook.com/elana.feldman.3] Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/cagrly11 [https://www.instagram.com/cagrly11] YouTube: https://www.youtube.com@fitnesswithelanastayhappya4734 [https://www.youtube.com@fitnesswithelanastayhappya4734] LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/elana-feldman-a9a12219 [https://www.linkedin.com/in/elana-feldman-a9a12219] https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLM8TxiTYtwl3eHbId7S1NITI5dz5QE0b1 [https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLM8TxiTYtwl3eHbId7S1NITI5dz5QE0b1] For all things Coach Jackie click here https://destinymakers.net/links [https://destinymakers.net/links] You will find access to all my programs, freebies, and ways to create your freedom life!

Empowerment Through Wellness: Jocelyn Martinez on Nourishing Life

Corporate Burnout to Wellness Chef: Gut Health, Trusting Your Body & Healing Food On the I Got a Girl podcast, Jackie interviews Jocelyn Martinez, a wellness chef and gut health mentor who now partners with Jackie on her retreat team as her personal chef.. Jocelyn shares her background in restaurants, mixology, and corporate food roles, and explains how a years-long health crisis after her daughter’s birth, later identified as systemic lupus, forced major lifestyle and diet changes. She describes how chronic stress and 60–70 hour workweeks worsened her symptoms, leading her to leave corporate work and eventually go all-in on Soul Smile Health and Wellness. Jocelyn emphasizes learning to trust your body and rebuilding a relationship with it, using food as medicine, sourcing locally, and creating intentional healing meals that reduce inflammation and help you feel nourished. 00:00 Welcome and Guest Intro 01:49 Jocelyn’s Health Turning Point 03:24 From Coaching to Wellness Chef 06:33 What I Got a Girl Means 09:12 Permission to Pivot 14:35 Corporate Stress and Autoimmune 19:40 Body Doesn’t Lie 21:40 Taking Life Back 24:53 Six Month Reset 25:47 Health Breakdown Story 26:14 Essure Implant Fallout 28:14 Trust Your Body 30:05 Wellness Chef Mission 31:12 Retreat Food Magic 33:36 How To Find Jocelyn 36:05 Local Food Philosophy 42:00 Final Body Wisdom 43:01 Closing And Tour Tease You can connect and follow Jocelyn at the following links: https://www.soulsmilehealthandwellness.com/ [https://www.soulsmilehealthandwellness.com/] podbean.com/player-v2/?from=embed&i=iszqn-1a78b01-pb&square=1&share=1&download=1&fonts=Arial&skin=fb0584&font-color=auto&rtl=0&logo_link=episode_page&btn-skin=fb0584&size=300 [http://podbean.com/player-v2/?from=embed&i=iszqn-1a78b01-pb&square=1&share=1&download=1&fonts=Arial&skin=fb0584&font-color=auto&rtl=0&logo_link=episode_page&btn-skin=fb0584&size=300] For all things Coach Jackie click here https://destinymakers.net/links [https://destinymakers.net/links] You will find access to all my programs, freebies, and ways to create your freedom life!

From “I Got It” to Calm: Wendy Taddeucci on Letting Go of Control, Connection, and the Calm Advantage

On this I Got It, Girl episode, Jackie interviews Wendy Taddeucci a Life Coach and Soul Protector for high-achieving women. Wendy shares how she helps overwhelmed women move from anxiety and burnout into ease, flow, and what she calls the “calm advantage,” where opportunities and money show up without pushing so hard. She opens up about growing up after her father died at six, learning to survive through control, self-sufficiency, and emotional shutdown, plus shame around finances and feeling different. A turning point came when she isolated herself before a conference talk and bombed on stage, prompting her to choose connection, community, journaling, and coaching. Wendy describes shifting from professional organizer to coach (fully in 2017) and emphasizes the key takeaway: “You get to” choose what you desire by slowing down, breathing, and allowing support. 00:00 Meet Wendy Taddeucci 01:30 Calm Advantage Coaching 02:35 Strawberry Shortcake AI 03:46 What Is I Got It Girl 05:02 Turning Point Conference Bomb 09:36 Isolation To Connection 12:16 Childhood Loss And Control 15:45 Learning To Feel Again 19:23 Binge Eating Wakeup 19:50 Journaling Breakthrough 22:11 Releasing Old Journals 24:17 Shame and Self Reliance 28:26 Hiring First Coach 30:38 From Organizing to Coaching 33:16 Entrepreneurship Growth Lessons 34:43 Divine Nudges and Surrender 38:58 Problem Solver Identity 39:42 Where to Find Wendy 40:50 You Get To Takeaway 42:28 Final Wrap and Subscribe You can find Wendy at the following links: https://coach-wendy.com/ [https://coach-wendy.com/] https://www.facebook.com/WendyTaddeucci/ [https://www.facebook.com/WendyTaddeucci/] https://www.instagram.com/wendytaddeucci/ [https://www.instagram.com/wendytaddeucci/] https://coach-wendy.com/subscribe-now [https://coach-wendy.com/subscribe-now] For all things Coach Jackie click here https://destinymakers.net/links [https://destinymakers.net/links] You will find access to all my programs, freebies, and ways to create your freedom life!

Dance With the Mess of Stress: Letting Go of Control, Healing, and Nervous System Regulation with Eileen McDonald

Coach Jackie welcomes guest Eileen McDonald, who helps women reconnect with their internal wisdom and “dance with the mess of the stress” so it doesn’t derail their health or performance. They discuss how “I got it” control patterns can develop, by sharing Jackie’s childhood experience of becoming fiercely independent, and Eileen’s story of pushing through motherhood and work until her body shut down, leading to an autoimmune disease and the difficult practice of asking for and receiving help. Eileen shares how her healing journey led her to explore how emotions affect physiology, stress and the nervous system, and tools like biofeedback to make the invisible visible. They offer practical micro-practices to release tension (shoulder rolls, progressive muscle squeeze-and-release, breathing, sighing, rubbing around the ears, humming) and emphasize pausing to create space between events and reactions, bringing more ease at home and in life. 00:00 Welcome and Guest Intro 00:37 Eileen’s Mission With Stress 02:25 What Is the I Gotta Girl 03:58 Eileen’s Breaking Point 09:25 Learning to Receive Help 12:31 Control Perfection and Nursing 13:34 Emotions and Autoimmune Healing 17:43 Biofeedback and Body Awareness 19:12 Daily Stress Release Tools 19:56 Release Muscle Tension 21:15 Meditation Without Sitting 22:32 Quick Nervous System Tools 24:06 Learning To Slow Down 26:50 Self Care Sets The Tone 29:33 Ripple Effect Of Calm 31:22 Pause And Take Space 34:21 Transition Home Intentionally 36:24 Closing Reflections And Farewell You can find Eileen McDonald at the following places: www.eileenmcdonald.com [http://www.eileenmcdonald.com] Facebook: @Eileen Mullins McDonald LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/eileenmcdonald [https://www.linkedin.com/in/eileenmcdonald] Instagram: @eileenmullins.mcdonald For all things Coach Jackie click here https://destinymakers.net/links [https://destinymakers.net/links] You will find access to all my programs, freebies, and ways to create your freedom life!
