Investing in our young people is one of the best investments we can make in Shreveport's future. The Mayor's Summer Internship Program gives students the opportunity to learn, contribute, and gain valuable experience while working alongside the dedicated employees who serve our city every day. Through this program, they are developing professional skills, exploring career paths, and seeing firsthand how local government works. We are grateful to our City departments and staff who have mentored this outstanding group of interns throughout the summer.
