Ignite House - The Victory Blueprint
300 Years of Getting Closer | Hebrews 11: The Hall of Faith, Ep. 2 Most people visit God. They show up when they need something, when life gets hard, when the crisis arrives. And then they go back to their regular life. Enoch didn't visit. He walked. Genesis 5 mentions it twice in the same chapter — almost like it couldn't say it once and move on. He walked with God. For three hundred years, his faith didn't plateau. It grew. It deepened. It kept pace with a God who never stopped moving. And then one day, God just took him. No death. No grave. No record of his body. Hebrews 11:5 says he was translated — that he should not see death — because before his translation, he had this testimony: he pleased God. This episode asks the question Enoch's life forces us to answer: Are you running ahead of God, lagging behind, or walking with Him? Because there's a difference between the life that checks in and the life that stays close. And Enoch spent three centuries showing us what staying close actually looks like. The principle that carries this episode: God doesn't translate people who visit Him. He translates people who walk with Him. Episode 2 of 5 in our Hebrews 11 series — Tuesday's word for anyone who wants more than a religion. Who wants a walk. Welcome to Ignite Your Morning — your wake-up call for victorious living.
