Descripción

Ay up, Ducks!  Happy Monday.  We start this episode reflecting on how fast the year is going and if we're making the progress we expected at this point. Not sure if Sparky is being as supportive a friend as he could be when it comes to Jo's diet progress.  Sparky had a weekend celebrating David Attenborough's birthday. As I'm sure every other person listening to the podcast has.. Although he may have taken it a bit too far.  We get hyped about the soapbox racing coming to Nottingham. You'll want to travel to Asbourne to use a very unique petrol station after a message from a listener.  Jo's mum has sent a message to try and start a listener uprising in defence of a comment we made on a previous episode about Toad in the Hole.  A tooth fairy update from Ashby de la Zouch. An update from Harvey, A game of Guess the year, and Kids Tell Fibs, and of course, we end with a vom story.  Sign up for more episodes on our Patreon, you'll get the full back catalogue of episodes and up to 3 a week instead of 1.  patreon.com/JoandSparky Have a great week  J&S x

Happy Monday, Duckies.  We start with a confession from Sparky, regarding his behaviour 30 minutes before recording this episode.  Jo's in training for the World Cup and gives us an analysis of Saturday's friendly that will leave Gary Lineker nervous.  We take a moment to empathise with hayfever sufferers again.  Before being asked to help with another relationship dilemma for Producer Harvey and his lovely ladyfriend, 3 weeks into their new life sharing a flat.  We play Guess the Year and Kids Tell Fibs and Guess the Year. Plus, we end with a vom story that will make you think twice before sending your kids to a kids' club when you're next on holiday.  If you want more episodes, you can get 2 extra episodes a week by signing up for our Patreon. Ay up me ducks. Happy Monday!  On this episode, we ask, have you ever ducked abroad? Did people understand it, or is it just an East Midlands thing?   This leads us into a conversation about how confusing the English language can be. We hand out some more top TV recommendations... Jo isn't trusting tech now because of the show she wants to recommend... And Sparky's wife isn't trusting farmers or butchers anymore after watching a doc on Netflix.  We also cover leaking bottles, the heatwave and more on the tooth fairy.   We get your feedback on Harvey's crisp problem that was started by his girlfriend that he's just moved in with. And of course, we play " Guess the Year " and Kids Tell Fibs. If you want more from the podcast, sign up for our Patreon and get 2 extra episodes a week. Episode 46 - Bangaranga!

Happy Monday! This episode starts with a conversation that a lot of married couples have. We're not married, but we still have the battle... Who's the most tired??  There has been a surge of love for Toad in the Hole that was mentioned in a throwaway comment on a previous episode. Turns out it's still a firm favourite in many households... But why is it called toad in the hole??  This leads us to death row last meal chat. What would yours be?  On top of that, earplugs recommendations, Eurovision, Kids Tell Fibs and a game of Guess the Year that offers up a "where were you when you heard?" moment.   Don't forget to sign up for our Patreon for more episodes... here's the link: patreon.com/JoandSparky [http://patreon.com/JoandSparky]   Have a great week  J&S x
