Since technology has been so inextricably linked to sexual discourse from the sex addict era-onward, sexting is discussed as something that was once a cultural fear, but now is completely ubiquitous, especially among kinksters. The advent of cellphones with cameras made taking and sharing explicit images easier than ever. Access to internet chat rooms and forums made it easier to find likeminded individuals. Text messages have made it possible for people to type out the most depraved sexual fantasies from anywhere, without others noticing. The Realness We Do in the Shadows

The absurdity and hijinks of being eternal, immortal vampires comes with an awful lot of passing. First, there’s passing as human just so vampires could survive in the same world as them. Then, there’s the need to start over in a small town and getting emotionally wrapped up in the people who live there, the desire to become human again and live a delusion with a wellness cult, participating in human ideas of masculinity and femininity, or realizing that coming out as gay is the most boring thing reveal about someone.
