Cycle Dog Pets Of The Week For May 26 2026

This week on Cycle Dog Pets of the Week, we’re joined by Chyna Thompson from Oregon Humane to spotlight a pair of dogs looking for the right home at the Portland campus. First is Dutch, a shy and sensitive pup who arrived through an emergency intake alongside 29 other dogs. While he may take a little time to warm up, Dutch is happiest curled up close to his person and is ready to trade uncertainty for comfort and connection. We also meet Barley, an energetic young dog who loves both people and playtime with other pups. As part of Oregon Humane’s Behavior Modification Program, Barley is getting extra support while he searches for a home that can match his enthusiasm and help him keep building confidence.
