Because of the Ascension...

When Jesus ascended into heaven, His work did not end; it entered a new chapter. Luke 24:50–53 shows us that right before ascending to heaven, Christ blessed His people and prepared His followers for the mission ahead. We are reminded that the risen and reigning Jesus is still at work in our lives today as He blesses us, sends us, and invites us to worship Him.

Witnesses to the Greatest Story

Jesus reminds His followers of the gospel message and calls them to share it with the world. We are not only recipients of God's grace but witnesses of it. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we are sent to live and proclaim the good news of Jesus.

Following at a Distance

Peter's denial of Jesus is one of the most heartbreaking moments in Scripture. In this message, we explore the dangers of spiritual distance, the influence of the wrong environments, and how fear can lead us away from faithful devotion. Yet even in Peter's failure, we see the profound love of Christ, who willingly went to the cross knowing our weaknesses and failures, offering grace, restoration, and hope.

When Zacchaeus climbed a tree to get a glimpse of Jesus, he may have thought he was only a spectator. But Jesus stopped, called him by name, and brought him to a crossroads. In this message from Luke 19, we see that Jesus is not merely a landmark on the road of our lives — He is the One who determines our direction. Grace does not leave us observing from a distance; it calls us down, brings us near, and changes the visible direction of our lives.

Warning Lights for this side of Eternity

In Jesus’ parable of the rich man and Lazarus in The Gospel of Luke, we are given three warning lights for our lives: only one king can sit on the throne of your heart, God calls us to care for the needy around us, and every person will one day face a final and eternal judgment. This story calls us to love God above all else, love our neighbors sacrificially, and live with gospel urgency.
