Life in Quarters
In this episode of Life in Quarters, co-hosts Emma and Becca are talking about emotional intimacy and taking down the emotional wall! Both hosts developed their emotional walls at a young age and quickly learned that that wall was as much of a roadblock as it was a protective barrier. Becca’s journey with taking down her emotional wall began in late high school/college and today she continues to focus on learning gentleness and the idea that being vulnerable with loved ones is actually winning as opposed to losing. While Emma realized that she’s been strategically protecting and maintaining as much of her emotional wall as possible to excel at acting and in life without actually needing to be fully vulnerable and now she is working to take it down more and more. Stay tuned for an insightful chat where both hosts get candid about their journeys with vulnerability, how it’s affected them, and if it’s ever a good idea to keep that wall up!
