What supports are in place for Limerick men experiencing coercive control?

Male domestic abuse and coercive control are all too common, so we started digging to see what support is available in Limerick and Live 95's. Tara Byrne was doing a bit of searching and says currently there isn't any dedicated service and she found the closest regional service is in Cork. She spoke to Marie Claire from OSS Cork about what they're seeing on the ground there. Anne Marie Geraghty also spoke to Andrea McDermott, Clinical Manager of Men's Aid, a national service for men experiencing domestic abuse to get her thoughts on the issue. Art exhibition brings modern art to Irish Pub in Limerick City

The new exhibition in Limerick City is looking to move art from white-walled galleries and into the heart of a local pub. The Glen Tavern on Glentworth Street is hosting "Seomra Comra" featuring monthly showcases from different resident artists. Ireland is taking over the presidency of the European Council today

Each county will be paired with a European country, and Limerick has been paired with Europe’s largest economy, Germany. Over the next six months, Limerick will see international conferences at UL, TUS, and Mary I, alongside cultural events supported by the Shannon Foynes Port, Hunt Museum and the German Embassy.  So what does this role actually mean for Irish citizens, and what benefits will the presidency bring to the country?
