Dan Everett- Family Man, School Counselor, Soccer Coach and Friend

For the Season 1 finale, I am sitting down with someone who has been a great friend, colleague, and mentor to me for the past 15 years: Dan Everett. Having lived and worked together in Muscat, Oman, Dan and I have shared a long journey of growing, learning, and striving to become better educators and coaches.  Dan is a wonderful family man, an outstanding elementary school counselor, and a brilliant soccer coach. In this episode, we look back on his coaching roots in America, his journey through the international school circuit, and the lessons learned from a life spent living and working overseas. There is so much wisdom, heart, love, and joy packed into this final episode of the season—tune in and celebrate the end of Season 1 with us!

JP Nerbun- Coach, Mentor, Podcaster, Author

What does it truly mean to lead with a spirit of service? In this episode, I’m catching up with a wonderful mentor, author, and dear friend, JP Nerbun. He is the creator and co-host of the Coaching Culture podcast, leader in the TOC Coaching Culture Community and the author of five incredible books, including his newly released title, “The Culture Captain.”  After first connecting at a Way of Champions conference in Colorado, JP’s philosophy of servant leadership has deeply influenced how I approach my own family, friendships, and work in schools. In this conversation, we dive into one of his ultimate mantras—how can I give back to help others?—and discuss family life, podcasting, mentoring, and the core insights from his new book.  Tune in to experience JP’s calm, caring approach to building life-changing cultures.

Jerry Lynch and John O'Sullivan- Way of Champions Podcast Hosts, Authors, Team Culture Coaches, Mentors

What does it take to build a championship culture? In this unforgettable episode, I sit down with Jerry Lynch and John O’Sullivan—the dynamic duo working like yin and yang to help coaches and educators worldwide transform team dynamics.  We dive deep into their incredible new book, Captain: The Athlete's Guide to Being an Exceptional Team Leader, and recap the life-changing Way of Champions retreat I was fortunate enough to attend last summer. At the core of our conversation is the concept of The RIVER—a powerful way of "being" that creates deep, lasting human connections.  Tune in to learn how you can make your athletes, students, or team feel: Relevant, Important, Valued, Empowered and Respected.  This is a conversation that will stay with me for a lifetime, and it might just change the way you lead forever.
