More Than Dance
In this episode, I share a class exercise we do every so often and why it has become one of my favorite ways to measure growth. The first time you do something, it can feel overwhelming. The second time, you have a reference point. The third time, you start to see progress. And before you know it, the thing that once felt scary starts to feel familiar. We talk about how to pull from your real life and use familiar experiences to navigate new ones. We also dive into the power of repetition and why doing something more than once is often the key to building confidence. If you have the opportunity to repeat an experience, take it. If you don't, create the opportunity yourself. Put it on your calendar. Make it a tradition. Give yourself a marker in time to come back to it. Because every time you return, you're not starting over. You're building familiarity. And familiarity has a way of replacing fear, discomfort, and uncertainty with confidence, trust, and momentum. Sometimes the thing you're missing isn't talent. It's another rep. Follow: Krissy: @krissyphillipino KDFSTUDIO: @kdfstudio
