Descripción

Hey friends- Summer is coming, and with it usually comes a shift in rhythm. The structure of the school year starts to loosen, schedules change, and it can feel like things get a little more reactive at home. In this episode, I’m walking you through the monthly calendar reset I’ve been using in my own home. It’s not perfect, and it might not all be for you—but it’s helped me stay a step ahead instead of constantly playing catch up. I share how I gather everything going on for the month, build it into my calendar in a way that actually accounts for real life, and then make it visible for my family so we’re not scrambling day to day. I also talk through why I look for white space in our weeks, and how I use a simple weekly reset to feel more prepared going into each week. This isn’t about doing it “right” or adding more to your plate. It’s just one way to create a little more structure so your home can feel more supported—especially heading into summer. If things have been feeling a little scattered lately, or you’re trying to get ahead before schedules shift, I hope this gives you a place to start. 📬 Join the Weekly Newsletter Faith-centered encouragement and simple decluttering steps you can take throughout the week. 👉 https://kristina-borseti-llc.kit.com/ac428baac7 [https://kristina-borseti-llc.kit.com/ac428baac7] 💬 Pair the Podcast with the Community Inside the Facebook group we break down episodes into visual examples, conversation, and mini-reset challenges to keep your progress moving forward. 👉 www.facebook.com/groups/organizedonpurpose/ [http://www.facebook.com/groups/organizedonpurpose/] Enjoying the Show? episode 176 | Not Enough Space? What to Do With Bulky Sweatshirts, Appliances & Awkward Cabinets artwork

176 | Not Enough Space? What to Do With Bulky Sweatshirts, Appliances & Awkward Cabinets

Have you ever looked around your home and wondered where all the stuff is supposed to go? In this listener Q&A episode, I'm answering three questions that might sound unrelated at first—bulky sweatshirts, crowded kitchen countertops, and those awkward dead-end corner cabinets—but they all point to a bigger challenge many of us face: making our homes work when space is limited. We'll talk about practical ways to store bulky clothing, decide which appliances deserve valuable countertop space, and make peace with those hard-to-reach cabinets that never seem to function the way we'd like. Along the way, we'll also explore why many of us own more than previous generations, how to stop organizing around Pinterest-perfect expectations, and why creating space in your home sometimes starts with owning less—not buying more storage. If you've ever felt like you're constantly rearranging things but never quite getting ahead, this conversation is for you. In This Episode: • Where to store bulky sweatshirts without creating closet chaos • How to decide which kitchen appliances earn countertop space • Creative alternatives when cabinet storage is limited • Smart ways to use awkward corner cabinets • Why not every inch of your home needs to be maximized • Creating a home that works for your real life—not someone else's Have a question you'd like answered on a future episode? episode 174 | Forget the Personality Quiz: 10 Organizing Principles That Work for Every Christian Woman artwork

174 | Forget the Personality Quiz: 10 Organizing Principles That Work for Every Christian Woman

Have you ever taken an organizing personality quiz and wondered if you're really a "visual organizer," a "label lover," or someone who needs everything hidden behind closed doors? While those tools can be fun, what if the most effective organizing advice has less to do with your personality and more to do with timeless principles that work in almost every home? In this episode, I'm sharing 10 organizing principles I've seen work again and again with busy women navigating real life—including caregiving, ADHD, perimenopause, grief, packed schedules, and major life transitions. We'll discuss: ✔ Why you should always remove before you organize ✔ How reducing friction makes systems easier to maintain ✔ The power of grouping like with like ✔ Creating simple zones that support daily life ✔ Why accessibility matters more than perfection ✔ How to stop relying on memory and create trusted systems ✔ Breaking overwhelming projects into manageable steps ✔ Small resets that prevent major organizing setbacks Most importantly, we'll talk about organizing through the lens of Christian stewardship—not creating a picture-perfect home, but creating more capacity for the people, responsibilities, and purpose God has placed in your life. episode 173 [Devotional] Why Clutter Feels So Heavy: Is God Revealing Something Deeper? artwork

173 [Devotional] Why Clutter Feels So Heavy: Is God Revealing Something Deeper?

Feeling overwhelmed by clutter, unfinished projects, or the constant mental load of home management? In this devotional episode, we're exploring a deeper question: Can we truly trust in the Lord with all our heart if we're still carrying burdens He never asked us to carry? Using Proverbs 3, Isaiah 58, Matthew 11, and other KJV scriptures, we'll look at the difference between real burdens and perceived burdens, why clutter often reveals something deeper beneath the surface, and how surrendering the right things can create more peace, clarity, and capacity for what God is actually calling us to do. If you've been feeling overwhelmed, distracted, spiritually dry, or weighed down by clutter and responsibility, this episode will encourage you to examine what's truly burdening your heart—and where God may be inviting you to trust Him more fully. 172 | Food, Fitness & Overwhelm: Breaking the All-or-Nothing Cycle with Ondrea Lynn

What happens when the very things that help keep us healthy are the first things to disappear in overwhelming seasons of life? The walks. The movement. The routines. The rest. The meal planning. The consistency. In today’s episode, I’m joined by Ondrea Lynn — speaker, author of Christian Women’s Weight Loss Victory Plan, host of the Christian Women’s Weight Loss Podcast, and a faith-based fitness and nutrition coach who has helped thousands of women transform their health from the inside out. Together, we talk about simplifying food and fitness, creating sustainable routines, stewarding our bodies well, overcoming overwhelm and inconsistency, renewing our minds through Scripture, and why caring for our health impacts every other area of our lives. This conversation felt especially timely heading into summer with all the noise online around quick fixes, workouts, diets, and pressure to completely overhaul ourselves overnight. If you’ve been feeling tired, discouraged, stretched thin, inconsistent, or stuck constantly trying to “get back on track,” I think this episode will really encourage you. There is a better way. A slower, steadier, God-centered approach to health and wellness. And stay until the end because Ondrea shares three powerful scriptures and a declaration that I immediately wanted to write down for myself. Praying this conversation gives you hope!
