Cutting Wheat on the 7th of July, the Earliest We Have Ever Started

It is the 7th of July, and we are cutting wheat. That is the earliest we have ever started in a whole career of farming, and a sign of just how much this hot, dry summer has brought everything forward. In this episode we take the very first wheat off, check the early moisture, bushel weights and protein, and place our bets on what the yield is going to be before the result is revealed. Between fields there is a huge amount to catch up on.
