Welcome to Parenting the Parents.  Im Maryum Sharif, I have been a Carer since the age of 17 years old and I want to share my lessons and blessings, sometimes funny and sometimes difficult days I go through. I have a great respect for my elders and I always somehow gravitate towards them, many of the time they end up sitting me down and talking, they want to share something with me and I find great wisdom in their words.  I wish I recorded my fathers words, so now I share his wisdom here with you. I also want to help my fellow carers with inspiring and uplifting stories as some days it can be tough.   It is a blessing to have parents and elders around you.
