Acerca de Pen to Sword

PHECDA ONE presents PEN to SWORD. A series of podcasts taking Eastern topics, often considered alien to our Western minds, and explaining them using authentic sources. About us: Phecda One is associated with FWC ( Fujian White Crane Kung Fu & Tai Chi). Having travelled extensively across China over the last 50 years and networked with many Traditional Chinese Martial Arts practitioners, we have gained unparalleled access to people and practices which fall under the realm of Kung Fu. Kung Fu means hard work. So we consider any person with a professional level of mastery to have strived to excellence, whether with pen or with sword. And so we/ Phecda One give you access to the broadest brush of Kung Fu and the information to assist you in developing the tools to progress in your personal or business journeys. Or are they the same thing?

The science, the magic and the history of Hetu and Luoshu

In this episode the team from Pen to Sword dive into the understanding of Hetu and Luoshu in Chinese Culture Hetu and Luoshu are legendary diagrams or "divine omens" associated with early mythical rulers and are fundamental concepts in traditional Chinese thought, particularly influencing the development of the I Ching (Book of Changes), Feng Shui, and Chinese cosmology.  The mythology surrounding their origin is as follows:  * Hetu (River Chart): It is said that during the time of the mythical Emperor Fuxi, a dragon-horse (longma) emerged from the Yellow River, carrying a chart or diagram on its back. This was the Hetu. * Luoshu (Luo Book): Later, during the time of Yu the Great (founder of the Xia dynasty), a divine turtle emerged from the Luo River with a mystical pattern or book on its shell. This was the Luoshu. These two findings were interpreted by ancient sages and are believed to contain profound wisdom about the universe, the order of nature, and the principles of change. They are often depicted as numerical square diagrams, representing the fundamental structure of reality and the basis for various philosophical and divination systems in China.  Pen to Sword is brought to you by Phecda.One. An exploration of, and education in Chinese Culture and how this relates to the rest of the world. Check out: https://www.phecda.one/
