#63 A Former Police Officer's Journey Beyond PTSD

After battling with PTSD and contemplating his own life - Danny a former police officer of 23 years,  shares how Psilocybin Therapy saved him. He saw the retreat as his “last hope”, and  what happened for him was “miraculous”. When he returned home, his family noticed his positive shift right away and he no longer suffered with the debilitating symptoms of his PTSD. Fast forward 4 years later and Danny has come back to interview with me and share that this wasn’t just a retreat, it was a life altering decision that has forever changed him. #62 Stop Avoiding the Conversation: Conversations Can Heal

We spend so much of our lives trying to avoid discomfort. We avoid difficult conversations, hold back our truth, and convince ourselves that staying silent is keeping the peace. But what if avoiding discomfort is actually causing us more pain? In this episode, I explore how vulnerability can become one of the greatest ways to honour yourself and your truth. I share why avoiding uncomfortable conversations is like slowly pulling off a Band-Aid, we may think we're protecting ourselves, but we're often prolonging our own suffering. We also talk about the difference between speaking from blame and speaking from vulnerability. What if, instead of accusing someone, we simply shared how their words or actions were personally interpreted by us? While these conversations can bring up triggers, defensiveness, and discomfort, I've found that when we're willing to move through that discomfort with compassion, something incredible happens. We feel empowered, we build self-trust, and our relationships often become deeper and stronger. This isn't easy, and it's something I'm continually learning myself. In this episode, I share my own experiences with vulnerability and why I believe choosing temporary discomfort is often the path to deeper healing, stronger relationships, and a more authentic connection with yourself. #60 Who Are You When No One Is Watching? Reclaiming the Truth of Who You Are

What if the biggest thing standing between you and the life you want isn't your circumstances...What if it's the stories you've been telling yourself? In this week's podcast, we're diving into the gap between our intentions and our actions, the stories we tell ourselves about who we are, and why true self-love begins with radical honesty. So many of us live our lives telling stories about who we are, but who are you acting as? That is the question. For many of us, there's a gap between our actions and our intentions. We have been lying to ourselves. When you can get real with yourself and take accountability for your actions, walking in your truth becomes that much easier. Why are we so afraid to be honest with the people we love? Why do we feel the need to tell people we are good people, yet at times we act in a different way? Why is it that we do not walk in alignment with our own values? These conversations with ourselves are not easy, but if you want to truly live as your authentic self, they are necessary. When we can be real with ourselves, we can stop abandoning our truth. We can truly begin to love ourselves and honour those parts of us that have made mistakes, knowing they are part of our growth.
