A Walk of Faith
Throughout Scripture the Christian life is compared to a walk... walk in the newness of life, walk in step with the Spirit, walk by faith... Faith is taking the next step, or the next shuffle even when you can’t see the whole picture. It’s not always easy, but that's the life of faith. Faith is a daily walk. a consistent, courageous dependence on God, regardless of circumstances. This summer join us as we look at the walk of faith many took throughout Scripture. And as we do, look at your walk of faith. Focus on the single step forward the Lord might be leading & trust His leadership. Know that our faith is rooted in Him, because HE is faithful.
Family Filled with Kids
We are not to keep the power of the Lord or the knowledge of the Lord to ourselves. We are to pass it on to the next generation. But who do we do this? In this message we talk about that, and it's easier that you think is.
Family Filled with Mothers
We continue to look at the concept of family. God bringing together people, who would not normally come together, in Jesus and creating a family. In the family there are mothers. In Genesis 2 we see God created a helper for Adam. The word "helper" is used 19 times in the Old Testament, often defining God who comes to the rescue. Women, a helper isn’t someone defined by household duties, sitting in the background, or thinking of themselves as lesser than. A helper was made uniquely by God to be tenacious in prayer, and with faith that God actually hears. A helper was made to rescue, to be a warrior, to be a believer when things seem overwhelmingly dark, to be an encourager when others confuse their identity in Christ. As you listen to this message, may you be encouraged.
Family Filled with Fathers
In a culture that’s never been more connected; we are more isolated than ever. But Jesus didn’t die and rise again so that we’d be isolated. He wants to reunite family, and Jesus created a forgiven family through the cross. In the family of the forgiven there are fathers. In this message we look at the role and responsibilities of fathers/men. And remember that the best fathers point beyond themselves to an even greater Father. As you listen to this, may you be reminded of the your Father in heaven, who never abandons His children, never forgets their names, and keeps pursuing them even when they stray.
Family
The Bible ends with one of the most hopeful promises ever spoken: “behold, I am making all things new.” (Revelation 21:5) Not some things. All things. Every broken relationship. Every lonely night. Every unanswered question. Every wound. Every loss. God is making all things new. And the end of the story isn’t isolation, it’s family. Children gathered around their Father. In this message we look at the reality that God has always been about forming a family. He longs to connect people in community.
