Southridge Church Podcast
Everyone expects the church to face opposition from the world. But what if the greatest danger isn't outside the church at all? In Acts 4-5, the early church faced threats, persecution, criticism, and pressure to stop preaching Jesus. Yet none of those attacks stopped God's mission. Instead, the church continued to grow, people were saved, and the gospel advanced. So Satan changed tactics. This message explores how the enemy attacks God's people from both the outside and the inside, why prayer and spiritual maturity are essential for every believer, and how compromise within the church can be more destructive than opposition around it. If we're going to live sent, make disciples, and reach people with the gospel, we must be prepared not only to advance God's kingdom—but also to guard our hearts against the schemes of the enemy.
