Descripción

St. Peter’s Lutheran | What About That | May 3, 2026 | Pastor Adam Rodriguez | Death is the one reality our culture tries hardest to avoid. We sanitize it, delay it, and try to control it when it draws near. But eventually, it finds us sitting in hospital rooms, holding hands, asking questions we can’t ignore. In these moments, we are faced not only with the reality of death, but with how to care well in the face of it, not simply prolonging days at all costs, but surrounding one another with presence, compassion, and love. Scripture teaches us not how to control death, but how to approach death: with courage, wisdom, and trust. knowing that even here, the Lord is present, and He is the only one that can control death.
