Surf Report - San Francisco California
Good morning, this is your Northern California surf forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday, June ninth and tenth. Let's start up north in Sonoma and Marin County, where surfers can expect six to nine foot waves Tuesday under partly cloudy skies. Temperatures will range from the low fifties to mid-seventies, with northwest winds starting at eleven miles per hour and building to nineteen. The tide picture shows a low of one point seven feet early in the morning at one sixteen, climbing to a high of three point seven feet by mid-morning, then dipping back down to one point one feet around lunchtime before peaking again at five point five feet in the evening. Wednesday brings larger surf to the north coast. Northwest-facing beaches will see eight to twelve foot waves, while southwest-facing exposures will get six to nine feet. Expect mostly sunny conditions with highs reaching fifty-five to eighty-eight degrees. Winds will be stronger, pushing twenty-one miles per hour and gusting up to twenty-six. No thunderstorms are expected either day. Moving down the coast to San Francisco and San Mateo counties, Tuesday's forecast calls for six to nine foot surf with mostly cloudy skies and water temperatures around fifty-one degrees. Highs will be in the mid-fifties to low seventies with lighter winds starting at six miles per hour and becoming fourteen. Wednesday gets significantly better here. Expect nine to thirteen foot waves under mostly sunny skies with highs reaching fifty-six to eighty-six degrees. Northwest winds will be moderate at thirteen to eighteen miles per hour. The tides follow the same pattern as Marin. Santa Cruz County surfers are looking at six to nine feet Tuesday with partly cloudy conditions and fifty-three degree water. Winds stay light at five to seventeen miles per hour, and highs reach the mid-fifties to upper seventies. Wednesday brings more promising conditions to Santa Cruz with seven to eleven foot waves and partly cloudy skies. Temperatures climb to fifty-seven to ninety-three degrees. Northwest winds blow twelve to eighteen miles per hour. Rounding out our forecast down in Monterey Bay and Big Sur, conditions are a bit more modest. Tuesday sees three to six foot waves with partly cloudy skies and the warmest water temperature of the forecast at fifty-nine degrees. Highs reach fifty-nine to seventy-eight degrees with very light winds. Wednesday, Monterey Bay picks up slightly with six to nine foot waves and partly cloudy conditions. Highs climb to sixty-one to eighty-nine degrees with light winds staying between four and ten miles per hour. Overall, this looks like a quality mid-week swell event, especially for the more exposed beaches north of Big Sur. Tuesday sets the stage with solid six to nine foot waves everywhere, but Wednesday is when the show really gets going with potential double overhead conditions on the best-facing exposures. Remember to check with your local authorities on any beach closures. Have a great time out there. For more http://www.quietplease.ai Get the best deals https://amzn.to/3ODvOta
