Tea-Tanic
Podcast de Loretta Anne Miller
"Did you know?!"... that Loretta Anne Miller has been a Titanic enthusiast since age 6? Yup. She's got the proof in her horribly written school kid journal that her favorite game to play on the Braham Elementary playground was Titanic, her favorite book was "On Board the Titanic", and her most vivid childhood memory to this day is being breathless looking at "The Big Piece" in the original 1999 St. Paul Titanic exhibit. Her obsession has become a sort of... trade mark to anyone who knows her. So, why the fascination? Tune in to Tea-Tanic; a podcast where we will be drinking, spilling, and talking all things T... Titanic, of course.

The long awaited season 1 finale has arrived!! After a few weeks of life set backs, I got back in the booth to recount my recent visit to the Las Vegas Titanic Artifact Exhibit. Join me as I retrace my steps through the experience, recount this first season of "Tea-Tanic", and look straight ahead at whats coming in season 2! Much love and thanks for all of my previous guests: Kjerstin & Danny Scheyer, James Penca, Adara Bryan, Simon Medhurst, Jim Myers, Angelica Harris, Adrian Saker, & Chelsea Pinkard!

WARNING: This episode contains explicit language of the sexual nature due to direct quotation of the show and commentary on the material in "Titanique". After a year of Broadway being dark, it was no surprise that Adara and I were THRILLED to be able to purchase tickets and watch a a live streamed performance of a new parody musical that just so happened to be a parody of Titanic (1997). Welp, the show wasn't all smooth sailing, and certainly was not spared a disastrous end. I am a firm believer that comedy should punch up, make your audience connect the dots, don't just drown them in d**k jokes.

Hang out with my new Titanic bestie Chelsea and I as we gush about Titanic historical fiction books, cringe at Titanic ASMR (WHAT?!), marvel over Titanic inspired music, Taylor Swift, The Queen Mary, and so so much more! It's our longest episode yet, friends, but I swear its worth every minute! After you listen, give Chelsea a follow on social media (@thetitanicgirlblog) or visit her blog directly at www.titanicgirlblog.com to keep up with Titanic book reviews, music and more!

It's the weekend after the 109th Anniversary and I've got another great guest. Joining me is Titanic Museum's Education Executive, James (Jim) Myers. Sit in and sip some tea with us as we talk about what visitors of both museum locations can expect, the education & outreach programs offered for students, I ask questions about ghosts (because of course I do), and I learn how Anne Frank was connected to The Ship of Dreams.

It's anniversary week, friends! Join me as I chat with Founder & President of the Titanic Memorial Lighthouse, Adrian Saker, about the current state and upcoming plans for TML's grand restoration. But wait, there's more! I am also joined by Titanic Memorial Lighthouse's own Descendant Advocate & author of " Titanic Brothers Peracchio: Two Boys and a Dream" Angelica Harris, as she graciously shares her family story & connection to The Titanic.
