The Ford government just passed a massive $244.2-billion budget bill (Bill 97), and tucked inside it are some pretty sketchy changes to Ontario’s Freedom of Information laws. Also, it’s retroactive back to 1988, which conveniently kills a Global News request for Doug Ford’s cellphone records from right around the Greenbelt scandal.
