Born in Nigeria, Tolu grew up immersed in soccer and basketball before moving to Canada. He didn't even strap on a football helmet until his senior year of high school. Despite his late introduction to the sport, his natural athleticism and explosive power quickly turned heads. The gamble paid off exponentially: he dominated the trenches, locked down multiple Division I offers from programs across the United States, and chose to take his talents to the University of Connecticut.
