Descripción

I haven’t posted in a minute and I’m sorry it’s been so long. I’ve seriously been lacking motivation in general so the idea of making a podcast outline sounded exhausting. I have been in a bit of a rut recently. I just haven’t been feeling the best so today that’s kinda what I wanted to talk about. If you are in a similar place that I am in and you feel drained, unmotivated, and just gross, I am gonna be sharing some things that have been helpful for me that may help you.

Guarding Your Heart Doesn't Mean You Have to Numb It

Hello and welcome or welcome back to the dysfunctional podcast, it's been a minute and I’ve missed talking to your guys.  I saw a tik tok recently and it inspired what we are going to be talking about today. The tik tok I saw said guarding your heart does not mean you have to numb it and I thought to myself, I could make that a podcast topic.  A common misconception among christians is that when the bible says guard your heart that means you have to numb it or be closed off. But I don’t think christians alone are struggling with this problem, I think this is very common in my generation in general. So today we are going to be talking about what it means to guard your heart, and what this common misconception about guarding your heart has caused in society.
