Send Carey a note (sorry, replies are not possible at this time) [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2561734/fan_mail/new] TONIGHT’S SCRIPTURE: John 3:7–8 [7] Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ [8] The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.” (ESV) SUMMARY We sit with Jesus’ words to Nicodemus and let them challenge the idea that we can earn righteousness through effort. We pray for the Holy Spirit to move like the wind in our lives, bringing inner renewal, trust, and peace as we rest. • Nicodemus as a rule-keeper drawn to Jesus’ message • Religiosity as an outside-in project that cannot remake the heart • “You must be born again” as spiritual rebirth, not self-improvement • The Holy Spirit compared to the wind we cannot control • A simple invitation to ask for guidance, restoration, and salvation • Trusting unseen spiritual work and praying for loved ones I encourage you to pray often for God's spirit to blow in your life to guide you, to restore you, to bring you salvation if you've never experienced it.
