Descripción

This week’s guest is Adam Cayton-Holland and I truly cannot believe I get to say that. Adam is a Denver comedy institution: co-creator and star of Those Who Can’t, co-founder of The Grawlix, a nationally touring stand-up, author, screenwriter… the kind of multi-hyphenate creative who somehow makes excellence look casual. After reading his memoir Tragedy + Time, which explores the devastating loss of his sister with honesty and razor-sharp humor, he became a creative hero of mine, inspiring me to write my own memoir about grief. We talk about the book, about survival, and about what it means to turn the worst thing that’s ever happened to you into art that helps other people feel seen. We also dive into its film adaptation, See You When I See You, which just premiered at Sundance. And because Adam is a good sport (and a true pro), he even lets me put him through my Letterman-inspired “Top 10” questions, proving that even when the subject matter is heavy there’s still room for play. This one is thoughtful, funny, and deeply human. I'm so honored to have him on this season's penultimate episode.

Silver Girls (with Karyssa Cox and Mariah Norby)

We're kicking our third season off with the kiki of my dreams! Two of my best friends in the world, Karyssa and Mariah, are here to get deep and spill some tea in honor of our silver anniversary. (That's right, it's my TWENTY-FIFTH year of knowing these two.) We talk about everything from our elementary origins, to being there for each other in our comings-of-age, to what life looks like now that both Karyssa and Mariah are married moms. There's no way The Kameron Show would ever be complete without an appearance from these two diamonds in my life. I love this episode and I hope you feel like you're one of The Girls when you tune in. I also dedicate this season to my friend Dev Searcey, whom I lost to suicide this year. If you or someone you know need help, please remember you can reach out to the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline anytime, at 988. One last thing! Make sure to check out Mariah's new podcast, Your Body is Spectacular, out now. (https://mariahnorby.podbean.com/)
