Descripción

Episode 16 of Kiki of Fashion finds Samia and Eddie in conversation about the power of media and how it shapes global perception. Along the way we spotlight Lagos Fashion Week, Street Souk, and the voices pushing African fashion forward, including Mario Epanya’s bid for a Vogue Africa back in 2010. It is a loose, candid chat about curiosity, representation, and imagining a more globally minded fashion media. A space for those who love and live for fashion! Does the Luxury Sales Advisor Still Matter With All This Focus on AI? ft. Tre Romeo

Welcome back to The Kiki of Fashion, where we don’t do surface level. Today we’re getting into something that’s been on our minds: the luxury sales advisor. You know the one, the person who remembers your size, your taste, your last three purchases. The one who makes you feel seen in a store. But with brands pushing AI harder than ever, we have to ask, is that relationship still sacred? Or is it being quietly replaced? We sat down with Tre Romeo, who knows this world from the inside, to talk about what the sales floor really looks like right now, what AI can and absolutely cannot do, and why the human touch in luxury might be more radical than ever. Let’s get into it. About Tre Romeo: Tremaine Romeo is a filmmaker turned retail strategist whose career spans film, fashion, and leadership. From directing with Rocketlight Films to Men’s RTW Director at Louis Vuitton, Store Director at J.Crew Men’s Shop, and nearly a decade at Todd Snyder as Head of Stores and Recruiter, he has built and led teams for some of the industry’s most influential brands. He is currently Partner, Director of retail and brand experience at Blackstock & Weber. He is also Co-Founder of The Magic Hour, a creative salon spotlighting rising voices across film, art, and music. A space for those who love and live for fashion!
