Josh Parks was raised in Lexington, South Carolina, just a few miles from the state capital of Columbia. He first became interested in politics while interning for Strom Thurmond in Washington during college. In 2008, Josh’s political views were profoundly shaped by Dr. Ron Paul, whose message of fiscal responsibility, a noninterventionist foreign policy, and the protection of individual liberty inspired him to embrace a more principled understanding of conservative values. Josh joined the Libertarian Party in 2021. He currently serves as Chair of the Richland County Libertarian Party and as Membership Chair for the South Carolina Libertarian Party. Josh is President of Bridgeway Consulting, where he has helped more than 100 businesses and nonprofit organizations build stronger leaders and healthier workplace cultures.
