Here we see some men coming to Jesus and having just seen all these exciting things take place, these men wanted to follow Jesus. BUT Jesus gave them some sober reminders that what they just witnessed was not what its all about! Today we find a woman who doesn't have a cancer, she's not possessed of a devil or paralyzed, no, she has a fever. Does this woman's condition warrant intervention from Jesus? Do we allow the smaller things to continue? Does Jesus? Would God heal someone of something non-life threatening? It says that Jesus spoke to this fever!
