Psychedelics, Consciousness, Mystical Experience, and Counseling an AI - SXSW Day 3 Debrief Part 2

In particular, the discussion focused on how the scientist had repudiated his materialist beliefs in favor of a re-enchantment belief system, where mystical experiences become the arbiter of truth. Then we reviewed a seminar in which a professional counselor shared how she counseled a human-AI couple - a man and his AI girlfriend. We wrap up day 3 with a discussion on the philosophy of festivals, how they are implemented, what the business ideas are behind them, and how they are having an impact. Humanoid Robots, Amy Webb's Convergence Projections - SXSW Day 3 Debrief Part 1

We also had a short discussion about the ideas presented at an LGBTQ workshop, in which they outlined how they intend to use media and governmental pressure to raise the popularity of LGBTQ issues. The basis for the discussion was the popular LGBTQ themed tv series, “Heated Rivalry.” We finish with a long discussion on AI and humanoid robots, how these things are being implemented into various industries, and what it means for the future.
