YouTube link: This is the first of a 3 part series in which Carl Teichrib and George Olson start a discussion at the intersection of the civilian industries supporting military endeavors as revealed at SOF week. Then they bring out a discussion of supply chains, new technologies (AI, drones, robotics), geopolitical considerations, the spiritual belief systems undergirding the flow of events, and the calling of Christians living and operating in this world. Society, industry, technology, history, spirituality, geopolitics, and worldview changes are all converging at a point in time in which we pass through a systemic crisis that will re-shape the world. We are still “left of bang” in any sort of ekpyrosis level event, and there is still a chance that we can prevent a major conflagration from breaking out. However, it will require faith, courage, patience, and wisdom, and for us as believers to properly represent Christ without fear to a lost and dying world. Our salvation is not a collective human endeavor achieved by our own efforts, but instead one which requires faith and turning to our Creator in humility and repentance, knowing that He is the only one who can ultimately save us. Psychedelics, Consciousness, Mystical Experience, and Counseling an AI - SXSW Day 3 Debrief Part 2

To watch this in video format, click the link below: In this second segment of our day 3 debrief, we discussed a seminar given by a materialist scientist on consciousness and psychedelics. In particular, the discussion focused on how the scientist had repudiated his materialist beliefs in favor of a re-enchantment belief system, where mystical experiences become the arbiter of truth. Then we reviewed a seminar in which a professional counselor shared how she counseled a human-AI couple - a man and his AI girlfriend. We wrap up day 3 with a discussion on the philosophy of festivals, how they are implemented, what the business ideas are behind them, and how they are having an impact.
